Touhoumon World Link Trainer Fix Patch
This patch is for fixing trainers that use random item while battle.
World Link Trainer Fix (English).ips is for US Touhoumon World Link rom, either version release is
applicable (v1.00 ~ 1.42, normal version or unedited header version)
World Link Trainer Fix (French).ips is for French Touhoumon World Link rom
If you already altered the rom such as editing the base stat, iDollDex, map, script, etc. This patch is still applicable without affecting your edit. Because this patch will merely overwrite 3 bytes in the rom into correct value.

This hack is raw port of English Touhoumon World Link v1.42,
Which means it has compatibility with Touhoumon Another World v1.51, Touhoumon MMW v1.30, and English Touhoumon World Link v1.42
The features are same as English one…
Porting 95% – 5% difference is voicegroup and frontier trainer card sprite. All other things such as move learned, move tutor, growth rate, songs,maps, events, glitches, etc. are done… not fully tested though…
Translation 1% – only rough translation (using google translate) of attack name and trainer class… Some of move such as Death Butterfly, Master Spark, Kamikaze, etc. remain same name as spell card name..
Areas outside Hoenn (Kanto, Johto, Gensokyo, Java) are remain untranslated…

I need help for filling iDollDex and translating… I made a bit tutorial about text editing inside zip file…
Most likely, I won’t update anymore… because it’s near 100% porting…
I hope you work as team while editing… because one person editing is really though… I leave that matter to you all…

Q: Why [insert character name here] is not exist in this game(s)?
A: There is no more open slot…
Q: Why this touhoumon doesn’t work in [insert emulator name here] on [insert console/gadget name here]?
A: No idea… I only tested game using VisualBoyAdvance for computer and DSTwo in Nintendo DS. Maybesomeone can help… But, generally using unedited rom version and do SRAM patch will work…
Q: How can I link battle/trade?

Important:
– Use VBA Link 1.7.3
– Make sure your save type is flash 128kb and real time clock is checked
– Make sure you select “Single Computer”
– Determine what link you would like to use… Link Cable Emulation or Wireless Adaptor Emulation…
– Make sure turn off “pause when inactive windows”
Q: I did link, but there is message “can’t transmit with the faraway trainer” or “the other trainer is not ready” or similar thing, what’s going on?

Q: I cannot find the way in Route 127, where is the way?
A: Find the way between trees, see the picture below
Q: How to get Kanto Region?
A: Ask person with Renko Sprite in Touka City, you will obtain JX-Pass, then you go to the North of Muro Town, ask sailor there, and you go to Kanto.
Q: How to get Java Region?
A: You will need some tasks to do:
– Ask gentleman in Hanada City, this will allow you pass to Johto through south gate of victory road
– Ask fat person in Wakaba Town (New Bark Town)
– Go to Route 25 and ask people there (with the ship)
– Beat Steven in Mt. Silver
– Return to Route 25 and he will escort you to Java Region.
Q: How to enter Java Grand League?
A: You need 7 Gems to enter Grand League, here the list of gems:
1. Ruby: given before battle with Steven
2. Emerald: Beat trainer named Tenshi in Yogyakarta
3. Topaz: Beat trainer named Woofle in Solo
4. Diamond: Beat trainer named Kryuzei in Semarang (inside house)
5. Pearl: Beat trainer named Kira in North Plain (South of Semarang), he is covered with trees.

Q: What is Z Bonéka?
A: Z Bonéka is secret Bonéka that not recorded in iDollDex (like Miku). They are overpowered. Legit Z Bonéka in this game always shiny.

Q: What I supposed to do in Muenduka after beating Marisa?
A: Go to Hakurei Shrine and ask Reimu for battle, beat her, and go to the bed room and ask Yukari. You will be sent to Gap Zone.
Q: I’m lost in the Gap Zone, where is the way?
A: Outside World portal… go to the top-right edge of map, thus press 1 step left and 1 step down…
Hakurei Shrine portal… go to the bottom-left edge of map, thus press 1 step up and 2 steps right…
Q: Where is HM Fly and Boneka Flute?
A: Both of them are obtained in Hyakugokurou. HM Fly is given by Yuyuko and Boneka Flute is given by Youmu.
Q: How can I access Hyakugokurou?
A: After rescuing Mr. Fuji in Boneka Tower (Shion Town)… once again go to the top of Boneka Tower and check the golden tomb.

By releasing v1.30… the main story is completed. And also, I added behind the story of counterpart game through alternate world.
By releasing v1.30… my expansion of gensokyo ends here. I will give batton pass to someone else who wants to continue expand the side story (such as Higan, Subterranean, Garden of the Sun, and many other places).
In the next update (if possible), I will only fix the bugs and glitches and give some events in already existed areas, edite some sprites, and plan to write development detail for who wants to continue this.
I’m really sorry to all of you… because my real life stuff is getting intense.

If you want to open rom using YAPE, make sure you change back the price of evolution stones (except sun and moon stone) into original value (2100 pokedollars) using item editor. This is YAPE bug or something, if we change the price of evolution stones, YAPE gives error message.

If you want to open rom using Advance Map, use Advance Map 1.92. For unknown reason the newest Advance Map 1.95 won’t load those roms correctly.
If you want to open rom using YAPE, make sure you change back the price of evolution stones (except sun and moon stone) into original value (2100 pokedollars) using item editor. This is YAPE bug or something, if we change the price of evolution stones, YAPE gives error message.

This Game is recreation of Japanese Touhou Ningyougeki ~ Gensokyo Scenario with some editing.
Currently in this game:
– Just like original game, the story is ended up to Muenduka. The Extra is fighting with Reimu. So, don’t ask about story, because I just copied the script over.
– Music are imported from Japanese Touhou Ningyougeki 1.8 and Touhoumon World Link.
– Overworld Sprites also ported from original. But, this is not perfect porting, sometimes extended OW overlaps other OW.
– Some Boneka Sprites are imported from Touhou Ningyougeki 1.8
– Full link compatibility with Touhoumon World Link, since game meta data (Boneka Stats, evolution method, etc.) is imported from Touhoumon World Link
Added:
– Move Maniac in Muenduka Boneka Center
– Fighting with Reimu
– Allow you to buy evolution stone after certain event.
Missing from original game:
– I can’t port Forest of Magic mechanic. The creator of Gensokyo Scenario totally edited Safari Zone routine. You can still obtain Heal Mushroom or Poison Mushroom though.
– Some of text remains in japanese romanji.
– I haven’t fully edited inside Boneka Centers
Important notice:
– This game isn’t fully tested
– Some move description text are overlap the border
– TM description also the same, because in FR has shared text strings.
– The movesets and iDollDex text strings are simply copied from World Link, maybe next release will be edited again. It’s too boring to have same text and movesets in the different game.

This is sudden release for fixing fatal bug in ver1.28:
– Fixed freeze Renko in Shion City Boneka Center.
– Fixed DEMarisa glitch, this glitch causes you switch control with DEMarisa overworld sprite if you enter menu screen or after battled/catched/killed her and cannot move after that, actually you can just fly to somewhere if this happened. But, it’s fixed.
Use this lastest update, because you will stuck at that point above if you don’t.

Bugs/Glitches
1. When you open Menu in Trainer House Basement, somehow your control will be switched with the person behind the desk. So don’t open Menu in that map. Thanks to SKSK1234567891000 that give this information.
This glitch is already fixed for next release.
2. LChiyuri won’t disappear after caught, she will disappear if you make her faint or you run away. Thanks to Lenrir59 and SK1234567891000.

3. About Grand League of Java from DanielofDarkness
– Something’s wierd. I have all seven gems (I’ve even been to the cave at got Elis) But I still don’t have access to the Grand League. It keeps acting as if I lack the gems.
– In fact, upon further inspection it seems that a lot of the events in Java just plain glitched when I got the last gem and reset themselves.
– In case anyone else encounters this, the solution seems to be to refight the trainers for the gems except for the last one, and that seems to give access to the Grand League
I already edited the script in last one, and maybe in the Java League itself.

I tested the link features using various version of VisualBoyAdvance…
VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.7.2 —> Work Fine
VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.7.3 —> Work Fine
VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.8.0beta0 —> Disconnected when entering link room, I also tested it with Pokemon Emerald rom and ended with the same case.
VBA-M is not tested yet, since I got error when opening VBA-M, cannot set the cooperative level bla bla bla… this is something to do with DirectX update…
No$GBA also not tested yet.

**Last Tag can be bought from OldMan shop in Kaina, Hajitsuge, or Shidake after beating Boneka League. Everytime you encounter LastWorld Boneka, your Last Tag item will decrease by 1.
Remember, LastWorld Boneka will not learn any moves. They only have preset move if you catch in the wild.
***LastWorld Form also can be obtained by trading their Ex form while holding Last Tag. This method can be used if you want to get other moves from their Chibi/Normal/Ex form.
