Long time no see, everyone!
A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Lancer Weeb 64 and given information that there is a group that they want to revamp Touhoumon Another World. Basically they want to upgrade to 1.8 mechanics and added QOL and stuff from Touhou Puppet Play: Zoku! Gensokyo Scenario (Japanese Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 custom patch developed by arugurete).
After joined their discord channel, AGSMG told me that someone else is actually trying to remaster world link. Thus, I remembered that I made alpha version of World Link using 1.8 mechanics back in 2013, thus I gave him the file.
After that, AGSMG started developing World Link, and he named it ‘Touhou Puppet Play World Link Deluxe’

A reloaded version of Touhou Puppet Enhanced is being worked by Zeta Sukuna and team.
The enhancement including:
– Physical/Special split
– Three Regions: Kanto, Sevii, and Johto
– Edited Trainers and Gym Leaders
– Enemies with EVs
– Slightly expanded plot
– The ability to evolve your team beyond the ‘Kanto Dex’ limitations before beating the Elite 4.
– Various Battle Music changes.

Touhoumon: Ordinary Version
Maybe some of you already know that there is a Touhoumon game based on old classic GBC engine…
It’s called Touhoumon: Ordinary Version… a hack of Pokemon Silver (U)… made by a friend of mine, Gemini…
What’s different from original Silver game?
-The big draw of this hack is that the original 251 Pokemon have all been replaced by the cast from the Touhou series (they’re actually just dolls made in their image in this hack), complete with their own stats and typings.
-With the exception of legendaries and a couple rarities, all characters have three stages of evolution: Chibi, Normal, and EX. Chibis have a “C” in front of their name, while EX forms have an “E” in front of their name.
-A lot of moves have also been edited and even replaced with different ones.
-The Type Weaknesses and Resistances are adjusted and balanced a bit to accomodate the altered type pressence in this game. For example, Dark resists Psychic now instead of being immune, and has gained a Steel weakness (and there are a good amount of Dark and Ghost types in this hack to counter those Psychics anyways).
-Maps are pretty much left intact from the original game, though a few have been changed to remove that “Pokemon” feeling. For example, the National Park has a Yin-Yang layout instead of a Pokeball.

What is This Game?
In the Japanese Community of Touhou Puppet Play, there are numerous number of unnoficial patches of either Touhou Puppet Play 1.8x or 1.5x.
Thus, there is one person who combined some of those unnoficial patches. The upgrades compared from the official game:
– Fragment expansion, it allows you to catch Ten Desires crew or boss only Fragments in the official game.
– Fragment cries
– Kanji print (originally it’s footprint in the pokemon games)
– Johto scenario
– Kakera no Kuni (Boneka Village)
– Slide evolution
– Slightly moveset change
– and other patches that I don’t know… maybe…
And this game is simply port of Japanese version… and unfortunatelly I haven’t actually played that Japanese version before… so it would be useless if you ask me about the plot, where do you get [insert item or boneka name here], or why this and why that…
The Kanto plot is much same as Fire Red/Leaf Green story, while Johto story is similar to Gold/Silver game…. I think…

iDollDex: Boneka descriptions are being worked by Mekuruku…
A few things that were changed due to technical difficulties of arranged iDollDex… the game will freeze if you try to register out-of-dex Boneka… so the other option is changing the Boneka encountered into in-of-dex Boneka…
In the Burned Tower… in Japanese game you may catch one of SG-Sanae, MP-Suika, or Marisa-Ex
in this game you may catch one of shiny starter instead…
Whirlpool Island legend in Japanese game is Tensoku-G, but in this game is Tensoku instead…
You can still obtain SG-Sanae, MP-Suika, Marisa-Ex, and Tensoku-G via trade evolution…
Also, changing some of grass area that has out-of-dex Boneka (most of them are 2nd stage evolution of TD crew)…
Chibi form of TD crew all in-of-dex… so you may encounter them in grass/water/cave…

This project is simply port of Japanese Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 added with Enhanced Patches from Japanese community…
As far I know, features added that aren’t in official Touhou Puppet Play 1.8:
– Johto Region, America Land (?), and some of unknown place
– Upgraded song table
– Ten Desires puppets and some other puppets such as Sanae-JK, Suika-MP, Saigyou Ayakashi, Satsuki, Marisa-Ex, VIVIT are available…
– Pichuun sound
– “Slide evolution”, which allows your puppet evolve between A,S,T,D,H class
– and other things that I haven’t discovered

If you want to open rom using Advance Map, use Advance Map 1.92. For unknown reason the newest Advance Map 1.95 won’t load those roms correctly.

A: There is no more open slot…

Q: I cannot find the way in Route 127, where is the way?
A: Find the way between trees, see the picture below
Q: How to get Kanto Region?
A: Ask person with Renko Sprite in Touka City, you will obtain JX-Pass, then you go to the North of Muro Town, ask sailor there, and you go to Kanto.
Q: How to get Java Region?
A: You will need some tasks to do:
– Ask gentleman in Hanada City, this will allow you pass to Johto through south gate of victory road
– Ask fat person in Wakaba Town (New Bark Town)
– Go to Route 25 and ask people there (with the ship)
– Beat Steven in Mt. Silver
– Return to Route 25 and he will escort you to Java Region.
Q: How to enter Java Grand League?

A: Z Bonéka is secret Bonéka that not recorded in iDollDex (like Miku). They are overpowered. Legit Z Bonéka in this game always shiny.
Another World FAQ
Q: What I supposed to do in Muenduka after beating Marisa?
A: Go to Hakurei Shrine and ask Reimu for battle, beat her, and go to the bed room and ask Yukari. You will be sent to Gap Zone.
Q: I’m lost in the Gap Zone, where is the way?
A: Outside World portal… go to the top-right edge of map, thus press 1 step left and 1 step down…
Hakurei Shrine portal… go to the bottom-left edge of map, thus press 1 step up and 2 steps right…
Q: Where is HM Fly and Boneka Flute?
A: Both of them are obtained in Hyakugokurou. HM Fly is given by Yuyuko and Boneka Flute is given by Youmu.
Q: How can I access Hyakugokurou?
A: After rescuing Mr. Fuji in Boneka Tower (Shion Town)… once again go to the top of Boneka Tower and check the golden tomb.
Q: Help, I lost in the Bamboo Forest……..

A: Yes, only works after you beat 8th Gym. I set this because you can buy Last Tag in early game.

I think three touhoumon games are enough for me… I have to pay more attention to my social life… I don’t have much time now compared while I was still student… rom hacking sure takes a lot of time… T.T

Features
Touhoumon: Marisa’s Magic World is designed for helping other games to find Bonéka that is hard to find in appropriate game.
– The game has no Story. Focus on “Catch and Collect.”
– You can catch any Bonéka in this game with some exception. There are 4 areas currently in this game:
Area C: Chibi Boneka area
Area N: Normal Boneka area, and some with non-prefix Boneka such as Mimi-chan, Ruukuto, Kedama, etc.
Area E: Ex Boneka area
Area S: Special form Boneka area
In the beginning of the game, only Area C that is unlocked. The other areas will be unlocked as you catch more Boneka.
– Link compatibility with either Touhoumon World Link or Touhoumon Another World. Limited to Trading. Recommended using Touhoumon World Link/Another World v1.30 or later version.
– Item prices are cut down, because you can only battle with Marisa, Reimu, or Sanae. Mary/Renko also can be battled.
– You will get A-VIVIT as starter. But, It can’t be traded to World Link or Another World game.
