Yesterday, May 11th, 2013… I and my friend went to fX lifestyle X’nter…
We went there to have a breakfast and to see the JKT48 CD Single Album RIVER (Theater Version) sales opening day…
We arrived there around 09.30… went to find some food for breakfast…
We took a glimpse of the JKT48 There (where the sales was held)… there were already full of people… my friend took a photo from the lift…
WOI! It was still 09.30 and it’s already crowded! Seriously!
We ate breakfast (or I should say late breakfast) on Es Teler 77…
Around 11.50, after we finished breakfast, we went to queue line for buying that CD…
We though that the shop had already opened… but, it hadn’t been opened yet.
The official informed on the twitter time line that the sales would be opened at 11.00…
Seriously! It was almost 12.00 and it hadn’t been opened yet.
At the end they opened the shop around 12.20…
This is a photo that was taken by friend of mine… after we moved a bit from the long queue…
Full of people… crowded… hot…
I think I understand the true meaning of “RIVER”… the river of human that must be passed through…
We must place an order by filling the form for each person in the inner room…
Basically, the number of CD bought = the number of handshake event ticket got…
I picked Cindy Gulla and Nakagawa Haruka for the handshake event tickets…
Continuing walk for queue in the inner room after filling the form…
There were four sales counters… and each counter sit two JKT48 members and one staff…
The counter which I got was served by Ayana and Sonia (?)
During the transaction, I had a conversation with Ayana…
The translated conversation
Ayana: “Hello~!”
Me: “Hello~!”
–Ayana checked the form–
Ayana: “Onii-san… you like loli, don’t you?”
–I was shocked by unexpected question and frozen for a second–
Me: “I guess that’s not true…” I denied
Ayana: “Hee… but you do choose Cigull and Haruka”
–Pause a bit–
Ayana: “I wasn’t chosen… Onii-san, you’re meanie~!”
Me: “Next time, OK! I will buy one (the Ayana handshake ticket)”
Ayana: “Onii-san, you’re meanie~!”
Me: “Please, don’t be like that… Next time, OK…”
Ayana: “Onii-san, you’re meanie~!”
–after that, I got the CDs and left the counter–
She used expression something like this while saying “Onii-san, you’re meanie~!”… It’s sure very effective…
We finally finished buying CD, it was around 16.00… I could not believe that it took more than four hours… good thing that I brought the handheld console with me…
The condition when we arrived was as same as when we left… river of human…
Buying online is much more convenient…
Journey through river ended here…
After that we went to karaoke box because it was raining outside…

There was an improvement… the cover printing is better than earlier album printing…
But, I also got an apologize note that the track listing in the back cover is wrong…

Dikarenakan masalah teknis mengenai perubahan tempat diadakannya Animaku no Hibi 4 oleh panitia penyelenggara, dimana tempat yang baru tidak kondusif untuk bermain danmaku game, dengan sangat berat hati menyesal turnamen ini kami batalkan.
Kami mohon maaf kepada semua pihak yang sudah menantikan turnamen ini.
Semoga turnamen ini bisa diselenggarakan di lain waktu.

I got it approximately 2 weeks ago… my friend called me when he went to Grand Indonesia… he told me that AKB0048 Official Guide Book was on sale in Kinokuniya… the last one available… and then I told him to buy it and reimburse the money… it cost Rp 210.000,- (~ US$20 or so)…

Another late review of event…
This time I want to share my experience visiting Culture Japan Night…
Most of photos here were taken by Yoga, a friend of mine…
Culture Night Japan – Jakarta 2012 was held by Culture Japan President, Danny Choo…
This event originally was planned to be held at Mall Taman Anggrek…
But, under some circumstances, the placed was moved to Hotel Borobudur…
It was my luck… if it was held in Mall Taman Anggrek… probably I couldn’t attend Culture Japan Night…
Hotel Borobudur is near from my office… a few hundred meters distance…
So, I went there after work… still using my office uniform… xD
I arrived there approx 17.30… and the place was already filled with a lot of people…
One point that interested me…
This event is where the first official Moekana Tournament was held…
The best three got special prizes…
Mirai Music Album that hasn’t been release yet… Mirai T-shirt… and artwork+signature from Dr.Vee and Danny Choo…
And the tournament…
And the winners… along with Danny Choo, Dr. Vee, and the cosplayers…
Apart of the tournament, you could talk, or take photos with Danny, or make him sign any stuffs you brought…
I asked him if he would make a game or two based on Mirai-chan… and he answered that he will develop and make them surely…
And also I got my AKB0048 and ID card signed…

Journey Through Anime Festival Asia – Indonesia 2012
Finally I can write this article…
Maybe it’s too late to make a review of Anime Festival Asia – Indonesia (AFAID) that was held in the beginning of September at Jakarta International Expo…
I went there both days… but, I only entered exhibition and stage area… I didn’t attend the Super Anisong Stage…
So, the review is mostly from the Exhibition Hall…
First of all… I went there in the morning… but ticketing queue already long…
What I must say here is… the ticketing system was awfully bad… I bought the ticket on the spot for few minutes, but my friends who already purchased ticket by pre-order, they took 3 hours to redeem the ticket… my friends arrived earlier than me…

After that I entered the JIExpo area… ticket check…
Thus, I directly entered Exhibition Hall…
Actually I’m only interested with Good Smile Company and Culture Japan booths…
I must say that the area is too small… under my expectation…

As I entered exhibition stage… there was large dueling ground… Bushiroad Vanguard tournament was held there…
In the edge of the room, you can see a Moe-Moe Kyun Maid Cafe and Ateller Royale Buttler Cafe…
I intended to go there, but after seeing super long queue, I dropped my want…
Next… there was a local bookstore that also opened a booth…
S.H.Figuarts Indonesia also opened booth… they displayed their collection there…
S.H.Figuarts Indonesia is a group for people who loves collecting S.H.Figuarts line action figures… I’m actually also the member of it…
Next to S.H.Figuarts Indonesia booth, you could see the Nendonesia booth…
Nendonesia is a group of people who loves collecting Nendo line products…
Next one is Video Game Indonesia stand…
They held a Persona 4 tournament…
There was also Canvas Ranger booth… they caught my attention…
Apparently, they made a family card game that is called Pet Wars…
The characters in the card game are taken and adjusted from Indonesia-based ghost, event, etc…
ANIMAX booth… they featured and played Eureka Seven: AO anime in the stage hall…
Also… there was a Gatsby booth…
I didn’t take any photo of their booth… so, you better see this advertisement video instead…

Actually there were more booths such as Sony Music, AFA Shop, etc…
Most of them were selling collectible goods…

They sell a lot of Vocaloid Nendoroid (pretty mainstream), some of Idolm@ster Petite, and Moekana packs (both standard and booster pack)…
Actually, I’m more interested to display-only items…

This booth displayed mostly Mirai-related stuffs… posters, figures, dollfies, software, cards, ita-car, etc…
Along side the booth, I also attended Culture Japan Talkshow in the Main Stage by Danny Choo… and appearance of special guest Takanori Aki the Good Smile Company Director…
Because of Danny’s presentation, I’m bit interested to Mirai-chan… and also, he is a good motivator actually…
I guess I should buy if the scaled figure is released by Max Factory later day…
Too bad, photograph is prohibited in the stage…

Cerita ini mengisahkan tentang pendirian forum ANIMAC. Video ini dibuat pada tahun 2008 dan ditayangkan pertama kali pada saat Gathering 8 ANIMAC. Setting kejadian yang sebenarnya terjadi pada sekitar Tahun 2006 saat forum ini belum dibuat hingga terbentuk. Pada awalnya forum ini dirintis oleh Ananta, Meida, Azh, Nanaya, dan sy_kyske. Kemudian dibantu oleh beberapa core member seperti PanBer, Grool21, soul, eYes_cReam, dan yang lain. Ada banyak rintangan dalam pembuatan forum ini.
ANIMAC sendiri mulanya hanya untuk kalangan pecinta J-thing (baca: otaku) internal (di Sekolah TInggi Akuntansi Negara – STAN). Namun, hingga sekarang lebih dari 3 tahun berjalan berkembang, banyak member dari external.

This video tells about the Making of ANIMAC forum. This video primier was played in 8th Gathering ANIMAC in 2008. In movie, the story took place at 2006, before the Forum hadn’t yet to be born until it was born. In the first time, this forum was made by Ananta, Meida, Azh, Nanaya, and sy_kyske and then assisted by core members such as PanBer, Grool21, soul, eYes_cReam, and the others. There were many troubles in the way.
ANIMAC originally was only made for J-thing (read: otaku) lover in internal (inside State Collage of Accountancy – [STAN in Indonesian]). But, nowdays after more than 3 years, this forum developed, many members come from outside of STAN (eventhough still Indonesian).

Seperti biasanya… ini mungkin adalah acara wajib gathering… nonton bareng kali ini menayangkan [anime] Ichigo Mashimaro ~encore~ sebanyak 2 episode… plus potongan 8 menit episode 1 dengan subbing versi sampah oleh keith hanzel dan ura_genky…
2. Games
Game kali ini lumayan seru… terdiri dari 2 babak (babak penyisihan dan babak final)… babak penyisihan dibagi dalam 4 kelompok…
Babak penyisihan ini bertemakan clue hunt… setiap kelompok diberikan 4 petunjuk untuk mencari 4 buah kertas di area tertentu yang disebutkan… 1 kertas dari 4 kertas itu masaing-masing terdapat sebuah kata yang mengacu pada clue final…
Untuk babak penyisihan ini dimenangkan oleh kelompok 4 yang beranggotakan KiD, Hikaru Kisaragi, Ovan, Chimanx,…
Kemudian games babak final adalah quiz games… kelompok 4 yang menang tadi, setiap anggota kelompoknya berebut tempat puncak… gamesnya harus menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan panitia seputar Anime (dubbing, seiyuu, general), Tokusatsu, Music, Idol, dll… pada akhirnya yang merebut tempat puncak adalah Hikaru Kisaragi…
3. Pemutaran [sampah] Akiba the Movie
Pemutaran tentang movie akihabara the movie dalam sampah version….
4. Perkenalan Bandung Cosplayer Animac Member
Perkenalan Cosplayer animac yang datang jauh-jauh dari Bandung… mereka bertiga adalah Hibari Setsuna, Lulu, xxxtokichiroxxx…
5. Karaoke
Karaoke… seperti biasanya… yang ingin karaoke dan unjuk kebolehan… bisa tampil ke depan… beberapa lagu yang dimainkan (by request) adalah Aishiteru (Ending OST Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou), Nemuri no Uta (OST Seto no Hanayome), Climax Jump – Den-Liner Form (OST Kamen Rider Den-O), Kokoro no Tomo, AKB48 series, dll…

Acara ini untuk memperkenalkan diri setiap member yang mengikuti acara ini…
Setiap member harus mengambil kertas undian yang disediakan yang berisikan pertanyaan atau perintah…
Kemudian member tersebut harus menjawab pertanyaan atau melakukan perintah yang tertulis di dalamnya…
Beberapa perintah:

Setelah quiz… dilanjutkan dengan team performance…

Permainan kelompok untuk memperebutkan tempat puncak… memperebutkan slayer… at the end… yang menjadi pemenang adalah kelompok 69…

Dalam acara tersebut… terdapat satu hal…
semua member laki-laki harus mendorong bus yang ditumpangi agar keluar dari lumpur… sehinnga dalam acara ini intinya “Otaku ndorong bus rame-rame”…
