Years ago… I found an interesting Pokemon Emerald ROM hack by egg-frog180
They replaced Pokemon sprites with Key Visual Arts’ characters.
For who doesn’t know Key Visual Arts… It’s a company who responsible creating mostly sad(?) VNs such as Kanon, Clannad, Little Busters!, etc…
Anyway, the ROM hack itself was halted in 2011 by the author… so the characters are up to Little Busters! series (or Kud Wafter)…
The original Japenese version is something like this…
Pretty much standard pokemon-replacing hack…
Long time ago… I wanted to make a port for English version… but, real life is not very nice, huh…
So far, what I’ve done:
– Inserting sprites
– Translating name of mons
– Copying base stats and evolution of mons
– Re-ordering Key-dex
– Modifying song
For now, the main goal is to make base English version…
I need a lot of help to complete this port:
– 1 person for dex description, preferably who familiar with Key’s works…
– 1 or 2 person for editing moveset of mons, has basic skill in using hack tools… preferably who understand hiragana/katakana…
– 1 or 2 person for editing trainer battle data, has basic skill in using hack tools… preferably who understand hiragana/katakana…
If you’re interested, you can contact or mention me on twitter… I will give discord invitation via DM…
It’s already 5 years, huh… since last time I touched Touhoumon thingie….
It seems a lot thing happened since then… I found recently that some of Touhoumon or Touhou Puppet Play mods are being sold illegally… something like this, or this, or this… ARRGGGHHH…
Anyway, don’t buy them… otherwise you’re being scammed…
Aside from that matter…
A reloaded version of Touhou Puppet Enhanced is being worked by Zeta Sukuna and team.
The enhancement including:
– Physical/Special split
– Three Regions: Kanto, Sevii, and Johto
– Edited Trainers and Gym Leaders
– Enemies with EVs
– Slightly expanded plot
– The ability to evolve your team beyond the ‘Kanto Dex’ limitations before beating the Elite 4.
– Various Battle Music changes.

A few days ago, while take a break from searching for materials of my paper… I find something about Touhou Puppet Play…
Pretty much the Pokemon Hacking developed a lot, especially for GBA ROM…
Currently Touhoumon Another World is being modified by machomuu…
The modification aims to fix the bugs and glitches and remedy of stupid things that I made such as level curve, grammar nazi, etc…
machomuu needs a feedback or two from you all… the development thread and alpha version are located here:
Please put your feedback and comment there…
The following text is taken from machomuu:
What is Another World Remix?
Another World Remix is a hack of a hack. This hack aims to cure some of the hiccups that came with Another World, most of which were not creative choices, such as spelling errors and the like. This hack also strives to make the game more balanced without disrupting the states of the Touhoumon (or Boneka, as they are called) themselves. It will no doubt be easier than Another World is, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is going to be easy. This hack is meant to make the frustration from a loss one of understanding rather than something that is completely out of the player’s hands, but it will still, in many cases, try be unforgiving.
At its base, Another World Remix hopes to be a collection of fixes and changes that will make playing Another World a smoother and more enjoyable experience. What these changes include are fixed typos, justifiable text changes, trainer loadout and level changes, wild Boneka dispersion, and the like. At its base, its target is to reduce grinding (which is largely a problem in the early game) and make the game fairer and more intuitive.
I considered not adding a features section but this does help to keep me in line and keep track of where I am and what I want to do, so here’s just that. Note that this doesn’t include things such as rebalancing, dialog fixes, and stuff like that since that’s explained above and in the Changelog (which is currently being updated as I make progress), but instead refers to other changes the hack intends to make.
New Features and Changes
– Cut does not need to be taught to a Boneka to be used. As long as you have the HM, you can use it to cut down trees.
– Physical/Special Move Split
– Typos zapped and broken dialog rewritten (In-Progress)
– The opening cutscene is now skippable
– XY-Styled Capture Experience
Intended Features and Changes
– Smooth out the transition between Gensokyo and Kanto
– Translate all of the Japanese
– Rewrite/Proof Dex Entries
– Insert updated 1.8 trainer sprites
– Remove Zero Forms
This time I will report Kantai Collection Summer 2015 Event…
E1 – Medium; E2 – Medium; E3 – Easy;
E4 – Easy; E5 – Easy; E6 – Medium;
E7 – Easy
After farming for a while until all buckets were used up…
I got all of my desired ships… Harusame, Roma, Mizuho, Umikaze, Unryuu, and Zuihou… along with other ships such as Taigei, Amatsukaze, etc…
Map 1 – Prepare for Second Operation SN!
Using this composition, generally my fleet went through A-D-Z. A chance getting sent from A to B which has battleship enemy or F which leads to the dead end.
Generally it’s easy map. As usual the first map of event.
Not knowing that all the ship which were sent to this very first map got stamped (blue-colored), I sent my best destroyers to this map. With this, I was screwed. I’m afraid that I couldn’t take medium difficulty in the next maps because of ship locking mechanics.
The prizes for clearing this map in medium difficulty are: Irako, Furniture Fairy, Reinforcement Expansion, and Combat Provisions x3.
Notable drop that I got: Nowaki (already have), Ooyodo, Tokitsukaze, and Urakaze (already have)
Map 2 – Combined Fleet, To The Solomon Islands!
Using carrier task force really made this map fairly easy…. going through A-C-F-H-Z.
In the boss node, we meet abyssal Naka again… plus Battleship Oni added in the last dance…
Map 3 – Clash! The Second South Pacific Battle!
Because I made a big mistake in the first map… I ended taking easy difficulty in this map…
The fleet composition above went through A-C-E-H-Z.
Before using this composition, I deployed 2BB(V)+4CV (main fleet)… and ended having out of fuel at the boss node by going through A-C-D-E-H-Z….
Clearing prizes (easy difficulty): Type 97 Torpedo Bomber (Murata Squadron), Reinforcement Expansion, and Repair Fairy
Truly regret that I didn’t take medium difficuly… because you can get 15m Duplex Rangefinder + Type 21 Air Radar Kai Ni as one of prizes…
Notable drop: Urakaze (already have, a lot), Tanikaze, Mizuho, Shoukaku (already have), Zuikaku (already have), Zuihou (4x), Maruyu (2x), and Amatsukaze
Map 4 – Into the Strait! Destroy The Enemy Air Field!
Using that fleet composition… I always went through B-D-E-G-Z…
I think… if you familiar with night battle node… this map is easier than map 5-3…
The boss of this map is Airfield Hime which is installation type enemy… It means that Type 3 Shell will be super effective against boss…
And also… node-C is a nice place for farming rare ship such as Akashi and Yuugumo-class… personally, I got Akashi… yes, in easy difficulty…
Map 5 – Hard Fight! Western Deployment Fleet!
A bonus map…? I don’t know, but this map is far easier than E-3 or E-4… Fleet with Akitsushima allowed me to trip through B-E-D-F-I-K-Z…
My effort for leveling Akitsushima above Lv100 wasn’t in vain after all… hahahahahahahaha!
Finished map E-5 at August 13rd, 2015… thus I collected more resources before engaging E-6…
Ah, yes… at this point… Nagatsuki reached L99 while doing PvP in the same day…
Map 6 – Counterattack Operation! Advance to FS!
This map is mostly air strike battle… we need a lot of good fighter planes… at this point I only have 1 Reppuu and 1 Shiden Kai-2, the rest are common fighter planes…
Using the composition above… route taken is A-C-E-G-H-L-Z….
Most of time… retreated in node L… which has 2 Wo-class that using “pacman” planes that will our fleet badly…
Sparkling a whole fleet is a good choice for increasing evasion…
At this point, my high-leveled Destroyer left is… Ushio Kai-2… because of my mistake in the first map and the ship-locking mechanics…
Escort fleet needs at least 2 Destroyers… I ended using Yukikaze which is still level 32 as entering E-6….
E-6 is really evil map… even just medium difficulty… it’s enough to make my head boiling….
But… the funny thing is… The last dance… I didn’t realize it was the last dance until the boss gauge exploded… I think the boss need to be killed two more times… so, I didn’t prepare a support expedition… and killed boss in the first try! YAY~!
The reason taking medium or hard difficulty is mostly because of its prize… Prototype Flight Deck Catapult…
Maybe this song is indeed true… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Map 7 – Operation FS!
Difficulty: EASY MODOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
[CA] Maya Kai-2:
– 20.3cm(no.2) Twin Gun Mount
– 25mm Triple Autocannon Mount (Concentrated Deployment)
– 8cm Twin High-angle Mount
– Type 13 Air Radar
– Expansion Slot: Repair Fairy/Repair Goddess
[FBB] Haruna Kai-2:
– 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount (Dazzle Camouflage)
– 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount (Dazzle Camouflage)
– Type 91 Armor-Piercing (AP) Shell
– Type 0 Reconnaissance Seaplane
– Expansion Slot: Repair Fairy/Repair Goddess
What is this map!? Troll map!? This is easy difficulty, right!?
Last boss in this map has super ultra wonderful thick armor… but her armor can be reduced by killing mini boss in node X and Y… but it will be reset next day at 00:00
Using many trials and errors… in my case, the composition above is the most effective… Allowing me to kill node X, Y, L with S-rank in day battle in one trip and going to boss node Z… and also last dance…
Route taken with this composition:
– Alternate 1: E-G-J-L-Z (preferred for last dance, but the chance is slim)
– Alternate 2: B-X-D-H-Y-L-Z (standard route for boss, and also for debuffing)
– Alternate 3: B-X-D-H-J-L-Z (another standard route for boss)
– Alternate 4: B-X-D-F-G-J-L-Z (bad route for boss, just retreat if you enter node F)
– Alternate 5: B-A-C (compass troll)
If only I have Akitsumaru, I would replace Maya Kai-2… because fleet containing Akitsumaru always leads you from node D to node H….
Sometimes… I also switched Hayasui with Haguro…
Another composition which I use is carrier task force, but in my opinion it’s too hard to reach Z node…
Main: Ryuujou Kai-2, Fusou Kai-2, Yamashiro Kai-2, Maya Kai-2, Kaga Kai, Hiryuu Kai-2
Escort: Yukikaze Kai, Kirishima Kai-2, Abukuma Kai-2, Shigure Kai-2, Haguro Kai-2, Myoukou Kai-2
The only safe route is E-G-J-M-Z… if you enter node B or Y from J, just retreat… and also node M has two Wo-class with flaming eyes that can hurt your ships badly….
I used up around 6 demecon (repair fairy/goddess) when running carrier task force… but never use one when running surface task force…
Surface task force is rather expesive though…
I completed E-7 from full health bar within ~21 hours in the same day, exactly in August 25th, 2015…
In my case… killed S-rank X and Y around 5 times to make killing final boss easier…
This song fits better for boss battle… I played it a lot while engaging E-7…
The resources that were used for completing this event above… from E-1 to E-7 approximately:
Oil, Ammo, and Steel: ~60,000
This is my first time to participate the event of Kantai Collection game.
Spring 2015 Event! “Order! 11th Battle Operation”
At the first time, I thought that I wouldn’t finish this event. Because as for the information that I got, this event would be an aircraft carrier-centric. While I only have two not-so-well-trained aircraft carrier ship, Kaga and Akagi (level 30-ish at that time).
During this event, I took Easy Difficulty for all maps. Because my HQ Level was not high enough to take Hard Mode (at that time my HQ Level was 64), and the second reason because I only had few ships that trained.
Map 1 – Begin preparation, operation no.11!
This map was easy, but I regret choosing easy difficulty. Because in medium difficulty the drop were better. My friend who chose medium difficulties got 2 Ooyodo and Amatsukaze while clearing map.
When clearing map I used A-B-C-H route. But, for farming I used A-B-D-F-H route because it was easier.
First time, 3 times my fleet never reach node-H, because I forgot to equip seaplanes and radars.
This map is a good place for farming modernize-material. Kongou-class is common drop in the boss node (H).
Notable drop, what I got from this map: Urakaze (3x), Yukikaze, Suzuya
Map 2 – 2nd Curry Ocean Operation
First time using combined fleet for sortie. This map would be easier if we used carrier task force. But, I didn’t have enough carrier ships. Ended using surface task force.
Going through A-B-D-G-K this map was easy, but the resource consumption was disaster because I used surface task force (many battleships in the fleet).
I got Katsuragi (Standard Aircraft Carrier) as a reward by clearing this map, and I didn’t get any good drop in this map.
Map 3 – Disruption of the Bay of Bagel trade route
In my opinion, this was the hardest map to clear. Before entering this map, I didn’t have any Aviation Cruiser and Light Carrier, and made me to train Mogami and Houshou. They’re deployed at Level 20-ish… I really didn’t prepare well for this map.
The other thing… I forgot to equip Zuiun to Mogami. And lastly, Abyssal Naka (CL Oni) is waiting in node-D…
She is pretty much annoying, usually she made one or two of my ship heavy damaged. The boss node is much easier to defeat than her though.
I had disadvantage in this map, and this map forced me to use both support expedition. Many resources wasted here.
The positive side, I got the following ship: Agano (already have), Naganami, Takanami
Map 4 – Decisive battle! Ri-Ranka Island Tactical Operation
This map was easier than 3rd map, maybe it was because the well prepared ships and right equipment.
Thanks to Type 3 Shell that make killing the boss (Harbour Water Oni) a lot easier. At that time I only had two Type 3 Shell.
And also at this point my Sendai got 2nd remodel, I took the night battle equipments. Type 98 Recon Seaplane (Night Scout) and Searchlight. I hadn’t used Star Shell until 6th map.
The route that I took was A-C-F-E-M. As I cleared this map, I got the Italian fast battleship Littorio as reward.
I consider that drop in this map were good. Ship that I got from drop: Nowaki (2x), Shoukaku
Until 4th map, my resources got depleted harshly, especially ammo. So, I was doing the other things in the game while waiting the resource regenerated:
1. Orel Cruiser
Yeah, doing 2-3 over and over with my submarines. Sorry….
2. Weapon Developing
Collecting Type 3 Shell and Type 91 Armor-Piercing (AP) Shell for the next maps.
I was pretty lucky, got 2 Type 3 Shell in the first and second try.
And got other 4 Type 91 Armor-Piercing (AP) Shell
3. Give a marriage ring to Fusou
Break the Lv99 limit. Event map 5th and 6th for honeymoon…
4. Clearing World 2 Extra Map (2-5)
Clearing 2-5 map to get medal, and exchanging the collected medal for blueprint. The blueprint was used for Fusou 2nd remodel.
I guess my luck meter was pretty high at that time. I got the following ship from drop: Hamakaze, I-19
Map 5 – Raid on Apricot Atoll Anchorage
My fleet could pass the 5th map easily, thanks to Type 3 Shell and night battle equipments. But again, the resources consumption was harsh…
Fusou’s Zuiun Model 12 helped a lot in the opening air battle.
It’s my imagination or the boss is similar to Espada.
I heard that by bringing both [Mogami and Mikuma], or both [Suzuya and Kumano], or two ships from a choice of [Choukai and Ryuujou and Yura]. But screw it, except they’re still under Lv10.
No drop luck in this map. All I got: urrgggg… Mutsu which I already have.
Map 6 – Through Operation! Across the Stebian Sea
[CL] Yahagi Kai:
– 15.2cm Twin Gun Mount
– 15.2cm Twin Gun Mount
– Star Shell
[FBB] Haruna Kai:
– 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount
– 35.6cm Twin Gun Mount
– Type 98 Recon Seaplane (Night Scout)
– Type 91 Armor-Piercing (AP) Shell
Arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhh! This map was pretty sadist. I only used F-G-I-M-O route.
In node-I, I met Abyssal Battleship Hime, then Abyssal Aircraft Carrier Hime in node-M, and finally in the boss node (O) I met Abyssal Battleship Water Demon…
Despite of the twisted enemies, this map is easier than 3rd map. It’s because I have proper ship and equipment here. An yes, Kitakami already got 2nd remodel here.
By clearing this map, I got the new Seaplane Tender Akitsushima. From drop, I got: Sakawa (2x), U-511, Hiryuu, Kaga (already have), Akagi (already have)
Monotone fleet… yeah… easy modo!
In the end, while farming until the event end… I didn’t get any ship that I want:
Both Harusame and Roma… Getting them is just a myth…
Enjoy the song “The Tears of Shigure”… as I’m crying because I didn’t get Harusame and Roma…
Participating this event, in my case, wasted around 50,000 for each resource with exception bauxite 7,000… and also around 300 instant repair buckets… and this is the HQ and resources condition after event… My HQ level elevated from 64 to 78 during event…
For next event, I should prepare 100k resources and 500 buckets…
Overall this event is really exciting!
Too excited to kill the boss… made me forget to record clearing video…

This time, I will make a quick review of another LoveLive! figure, Minami Kotori ~Re START:DASH ver.~
Same as before, this figure is also manufactured by SEGA…
This figure based on the first live costume in episode 3 season 1…
It’s fairly good considering that I got this figure for 1,500 yen… but, still, SEGA figure’s quality is below average…
Testing the new mini studio space for taking figurine photos…
I guess I do need white paper for background…
