Patch Download
Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 Enhanced v1.11
Apply v1.11 to clean Fire Red (U) rom directly…
Please… do not upload rom-ready version…
Oooh, I’ve been waiting for this. I had to do some running around experiments today, so having a new version to do it on was a nice surprise. Now I have to go look around at everything.
August 25, 2012 at 02:37
Ooh, another update. I can seriously spend hours just listening to stuff in the Music Rooms.
Haha, CVIVIT for 9999 coins. Very funny, Aichiya.
…
Oh crap, you’re being serious, aren’t you.
August 25, 2012 at 06:36
Yeah, I love sitting around with the BGMs in the music room.
I’ve seen VIVIT going for 9999 coins in other hacks before. I tend to just save up money and buy enough coins (wasting one in the slots to get things even) since I’m not very lucky.
August 25, 2012 at 08:32
Thanks for the update!
August 25, 2012 at 07:53
Is there any way to lower EV’s?
August 25, 2012 at 09:00
still found some untranslated text if you want to know here i can show you a few spots
August 25, 2012 at 18:08
Hello, Someone know about how to catch the 3 first ones bonékas?
August 26, 2012 at 19:43
You mean Alice/Reisen/Sanae? You can trade for them in the game. Go to the Touhoumon Lab (Where you take fossils) and trade the chibi version of your stater touhoumon around till you get all three of the starters. Obviously you’ll want to wait until later in the game when you have access to island 4 and breeding before trading your touhoumons.
August 26, 2012 at 23:34
I see…Thank you very much. ^^
August 28, 2012 at 00:57
Hello, Someone know about where can I catch the 3 first ones bonékas?
August 26, 2012 at 19:44
Yay! I can finally get a VIVIT!
so, where’ll Gyokuto go?
and when will the 10 desires people be added into dex? not only the Chibis?
August 27, 2012 at 20:49
CVIVIT is in Goldenrod, while the Celedon prizes are unchanged.
August 27, 2012 at 22:29
I hate to be a bother, but I never received an answer…; is it possible to have the old music, such as the Doll Judgment remix for the wild battles and UN Owen for the Gym Leader battles, etc.?
August 30, 2012 at 10:04
I’m having a problem with patching the new version of 1.8 enhanced. If I patch it from the older version of 1.8 enhanced, every battle move that deals damage automatically resets the game. If I patch it from a clean Fire Red japanese rom, when I try to boot up the game it’s just a white screen (In the patching mess, I lost my file too…).
I’ve tried it all day, and am getting tired and desperate. Someone please help, even if I have to have a patched file sent to me (no uploading publicly though, don’t want to upset the brilliant Aichiya).
August 30, 2012 at 13:27
Well, there lies your problem. I don’t know why you would patch over an older version or over a Japanese version of FireRed, when the instructions clearly state which ROM to patch over:
“Apply v1.11 to clean Fire Red (U) rom directly…”
August 30, 2012 at 23:08
…*facepalm, facedesk, facehammer*
OK, it works now, thanks JetAurion!
August 31, 2012 at 02:07
Here’s a fun fact for you all… which it took me a solid 15 minutes to figure out. In options, there’s something labeled “automatic IPS patching”. TURN THAT OFF. It will cause the game to not work properly and give you the “1M sub board isn’t installed properly” error.
February 8, 2013 at 17:36
Aw shucks, you removed the Team Rocket rematches. Cause I love to rebattle them again. XP
Anyway, the Music Room is a nice touch. Love it.
August 30, 2012 at 15:01
Does anyone know if there’s a place to get the AkiSisters in the wild? All the other Trade ‘mons were in Mt. Silver so I was wondering if I could find them too. I’m down to that one, the Advents (since I need to get some chibis together) and the two alternate Reimu forms (since I wanted to keep copies of each of my party in my stylized Gensokyo themed boxes and need a Reimu for the shrine…gotta breed my active one).
August 31, 2012 at 06:43
South Route from GoldenRod City. (Where you find wild different form Shizuhas & Minorikos)
They’re extremely rare.
September 3, 2012 at 16:05
Thank you kindly. Will be on my way there, and then off to breeding.
Rarity doesn’t bother me…I’m the idiot who spent two weeks trying to get a Modest Yuyuko from Boneka Tower. This time I don’t have to worry about Nature.
September 3, 2012 at 23:12
Does anyone know the Base Stats of Marisa Ex?
August 31, 2012 at 11:31
Yea i do
HP:75
Attack:70
Defense:70
SpecialAtt:125
SpecialDef:90
Speed:100
September 1, 2012 at 14:41
So…it’s the same as in 1.5?
It kinda sounds wrong…
September 1, 2012 at 23:26
Yay for new release. Wanted to make a hack around this but I cannot open the patched ROM in any editor. Have you locked the ROM, Aichiya?
September 3, 2012 at 00:21
Finally completed my World Artbook. But have some fun things planed such as a crushing Level 100 run of the game (to watch things get beat badly) and possibly using the Rebirth function (along with the relearner/deleter) to get standard Level 5 versions of characters I couldn’t use in the main game and redo with that team.
I do have a question, though. Does anyone know where all the cosplay family members are? I’m missing a few outfits.
September 4, 2012 at 06:45
What’s with the Critical Hit ratio in the after game?
September 6, 2012 at 09:10
I know. My Youmu was set up as a Crit machine (all three of the bonus to Crit moves) and was very effective until recently.
September 6, 2012 at 09:54
I have little problem…
Where is good grind spot before E4?
My puppets are at the level 52-55 and I need to raise their level to 60 :<
September 8, 2012 at 12:14
Where can I find a CShingyoku ?
September 12, 2012 at 17:50
Get the roaming evolved version (based on who you chose as a starter) and then breed; Kedama is usable but since I don’t know what people’s secondary typings are I can’t say who else…Kedama are easy to get in any case.
September 13, 2012 at 02:52
You can also find the other forms to breed. One of the other forms is found by smashing rocks on Cianwood City. It can take some time plus the low level ones you find know explosion so be prepared for that.
September 24, 2012 at 16:02
Noticed a bug. If you try and use Fly on Route 9 or 10/Power Plant Area, the Fly map is bugged. The cursor is stuck in the top left corner and you cannot move it except off screen.
September 15, 2012 at 03:54
Sorry for the double comment, but does anyone know where you can capture the Ten Desire cast? I’ve only found Seiga on “Faraway Place” but there only seems to be her there. Want to catch me some Futo and Miko!
September 18, 2012 at 05:12
CTojiko: Birth Island (Unlocked after you beat Red at Mt Silver)
CFuto: Slowpoke Well
CMiko: Dragon Den in Johto
CMiyako: Ruins of Alph in Johto… grass area (you need to get there a round about way, through Union Cave I believe)
CSeiga: Faraway Land (South America)…Surf
CMamizou: Tohjo Falls
CKyouko: Mt. Silver, same room as Red
September 18, 2012 at 11:08
Drat! All in Johto! Better carry on playing then! Thanks Teefa. 🙂
September 19, 2012 at 01:50

September 29, 2012 at 08:26
I played netplay with Japanese Touhou Puppet Play. And I found Sand Veil Boneka cannot avoid enemy’s attack. I had never seen Sand Veil Boneka avoided enemy’s attack.
October 9, 2012 at 09:00
Can someone tell me how to get on the train to Goldenrod, he says i need a pass but I have no idea where to get it.
October 19, 2012 at 07:58
I think you need to look in the underground of Goldenrod, there should be an item down there that is the pass if I remember correctly.
October 20, 2012 at 01:52
“underground of goldenrod”? where’s that?
December 24, 2012 at 11:27
@linggreed
The underground of Goldenrod (basically the Goldenrod Tunnel ^^; ) has two entrances/exits. One is near the Pokemon center and the other is by the name rater’s house.
December 25, 2012 at 15:24
I have some kind of a problem, I think. I haven’t played puppet play for like 6 months, and I thought about checking this blog if an update was published. I DL’d 1.11, patched it with renko and original IPS to clean fire red rom, etc. I arrived at, like, level 23 with all my puppets and tried to learn HM01 Cut to one of them, but no one is able to learn it.
That’s kinda weird because in the original pokemon, almost every one of them is able to learn that move.
If it’s a bug, could you fix it ? If not, sorry for bothering you with my frenchy english. 8D
October 20, 2012 at 14:34
Okay nvm. The only boneka I have able to learn the move is Momiji, which is kinda legit in fact. Just thought some other bonekas would be able to cast it.
Thanks for your awesome hack, dude.
October 20, 2012 at 16:31
Momiji, Aki sisters, Nazrin(?)… Actualy this is enough bonekas to use cut IMHO.
October 21, 2012 at 03:21
Does anyone know where the Wind Cosplay Sister is? I’ve found all the following ones in these general areas…
Water(Rt 29-W New Bark)
Reason(Rt 30-N Cherrygrove)
Fire(Dark Cave)
Steel(Rt 32-S Violet, on a bridge)
Faith(Slowpoke/Rainmaker Well)
Miasma(Route 34-S Goldenrod),
Ice(National Park)
Flying(Rt 37-S Ecruteak)
Dream(Outside NW Whirl Island)
Dark(Inside Whirl Island on way back from Tensoku)
Heart(Outside Mt Mortar)
Ghost(Inside Mt Mortar)
Nature(Middle Grass by Lake Rage)
Beast(Rt 44-E Mahogony, by Ice Path)
Illusion(~Rt 45 or 46 Outside Dark Cave)
Earth(Outside Mt Silver)
October 23, 2012 at 02:55
okay where can i find cKasen, cSendai and cTenma …
looked everywhere in Johto and got every chibi form there is so far except these three
November 12, 2012 at 04:46
cKasen: Surf to the middle entrance to Mt. Mortar, she’s in the basement with Suika and Yuugi.
cSendai: Tin Tower in Ecruteak City.
cTenma: Onbashira (Sprout) Tower in Violet City.
November 12, 2012 at 11:22
so i did miss some of them in Johto …
thank you very much
November 12, 2012 at 16:32
Tenma and Sendai are pretty rare, which is probably why you missed them.
November 13, 2012 at 03:53
Can someone answer me some questions?
1st, i am not able to find CShou, where am i supposed to find her?
2nd, I could not find CYuyuko, CLayla or CYoumu, and by the Dex, i can’t tell if they are in Power plant or Bonéka Tower.
oh, and thanks, i am loving playing this so far, almost 80 species caught
November 27, 2012 at 09:36
Tower. You might have to check on some of the higher levels. I believe Layla is only on the top floor, and Yuyuko like the top two. I believe Youmu can be on the floor below the healing panel, but I found mine on the floor with the panel.
November 27, 2012 at 11:21
Thanks
November 28, 2012 at 02:20
Also, I have been trying to find CUtsuho in Boneka mansion, is she there?
I have found 200 CRin and at least 50 CParsee but no CUtsuho
November 28, 2012 at 02:21
NVM, Found CUtsuho in MT. Ember, But still, Couldn’t Find CYuyuko, CYoumu, CLayla and CShou.
As well, now i am searching for CSuwako, wich seems her encounter rate is low, is there anywhere to find her quickly?
November 28, 2012 at 18:08
CYuyuko, CYoumu, CLayla can be found in Ghost Tower.
For CLayla, she’s in the top of the Tower. She’s extremely rare.
For CYoumu and CYuyuko, there are in around the floor where the healing panel is located.
and for CShou, she can be found in Treasure Beach in Sevii Island 1 and Lost Cave in Island 5.
November 29, 2012 at 03:17
Thank you, i only didn’t know where to catch CShou.
I have now pride to say i got a CYuyuko and a CLayla from the top floor of Boneka tower (Took me arround 3 hours in there)
November 29, 2012 at 03:27
So, i beat Elite 4 and got the national dex, isn’t the guy blocking cerulean cave supposed to leave?
November 29, 2012 at 06:14
NVM, i had to set up Celio macine with the saphire and ruby to make the guy go away
November 29, 2012 at 07:34
So question is now, How do i get to godamn Johto?
November 29, 2012 at 07:39
Johto: Go back to Route 22 as if you’re heading for the gates to Victory Road, but instead of going up go straight. You’ll eventually head on into the path between Kanto and Johto. It’s pretty much straight out of the Gen 2 games.
November 30, 2012 at 04:07
Found that, thing is, i never have beaten a touhou puppet play before
November 30, 2012 at 04:11
How to get Sapphire? Damn guy blocking the way to Dotted Hole.
September 13, 2013 at 07:36
I have a problem with trade Bonka: I am using Win7 and I want to use VBALink to complete ARTBOOK in order to get “MYSTIC TICKET” where Touhou character live.
The Problem is…I was trying to use “Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 Enhanced v1.11″ as Leader and Puppet Play JAP Version as visitor” : I’ve seen tutorial in “Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 Enhanced v1.00 released”. I can enter the room but after sit the two character, game stop respond. Is this known issue ?
December 16, 2012 at 18:20
I’m a bit of a newbie to this whole thing, but is there any way to do berry crusher or obtain powders here? Seeing as, to my knowledge, we don’t have any way of using the Union rooms or the like.
Sorry if it’s a stupid question and thanks in advance for any answers.
December 23, 2012 at 07:40
anyone know how to go to Johto? I’ve followed the instructions from Teefa, but I have not found a way to Johto
December 24, 2012 at 11:39
After you’ve defeated the elite 4 and champion, make sure you’ve caught at least 60 and have the tools from oak’s assistants. Once you’ve done that, talk to oak in pallet town and he’ll give you the national dex. Then just head to Viridian as if you’re going to challenge the elite 4 again but go to the left instead of straight ahead when you enter the building. The guard in the next room will note your national dex and allow you to go south in that area. From there just follow the path and you’ll be in Johto much like the original games.
December 25, 2012 at 03:49
After beating the Elite Four, I followed Renko to One Island but didn’t see anything new to do there. I went to Two Island and Three Island as well but, likewise, didn’t see any new events, pathways, NPC changes, etc. So I left the Sevii Islands and headed for Johto since I recalled the guard near Victory Road saying I could gain access to Johto once I had the World Artbook.
Today, I read in some past articles on this blog that there is a Lorelei bug involving the completion of the Sevii Islands and getting access to Cerulean Cave, as well as possibly whether you can challenge the Elite Four again or not (?). And apparently this bug results from going to Johto before dealing with the Sevii Islands. Here are my questions:
1. Has this bug been addressed in the v.1.11 patch? I don’t see it mentioned in the change log and I saw people complaining about it in the v.1.10 update post, so I’m guessing that’s a “No.” 😐
2. I am currently in Azalea Town. If I make a beeline for Goldenrod, will I be able to use the train to return to Saffron immediately? And if so, will I avoid the glitch? (That is to say, is the glitch triggered only by completing Johto and not merely visiting Johto?)
3. Assuming I should load up my latest save file from before I ventured into Johto, what exactly am I supposed to do on One, Two, or Three Island to advance the Sevii Islands subplot?
Thanks for your help.
January 4, 2013 at 00:50
Here’s a status update:
I hastily beat Bugsy and the Rockets in the Slowpoke Well. Then I made a beeline for Goldenrod and hastily beat Whitney. I went into the Underground after this, and there I found the rail pass. Used it to get back to Saffron City, no problem, and then flew to Vermilion and caught the boat to the Sevii Islands.
On the Sevii Islands, I talked with Celio, got the first password from the Rocket Grunts on Mt. Ember, procured the Ruby from deep inside Mt. Ember, made my way to Four Island, and assisted Lorelei in dispensing with the Rockets. So far so good. After talking with her, she just stayed put, so I worried. Left the room, came back. She was gone. *phew* Went back to check on her at her home. She talked to me about how she was worried about her home, etc. Promising!
Went to Five Island. Rescued Selphy. Made my way to the Rockets’ base. Input Password #1.
Went to Six Island. Made my way to the Dotted Hole or whatever it’s called. Procured the Sapphire. Scientist stole it from me.
Returned to Five Island. Beat the Rockets. Took the Sapphire back.
*AT THIS POINT*, I went back to talk with Lorelei to see if she was feeling better. She was, and she said some new words, but she didn’t leave her house. I left the Sevii Islands, flew to the Indigo Plateau, and went to challenge the league. Could not. Woman barred the way, said Lorelei was still absent.
Flew to Cerulean. Went to check on the Cerulean Cave. Guy was still barring the way. Said I needed to beat the league and do something else of merit.
Returned to the Sevii Islands, completed the fetch quest of Celio’s (handing him the Sapphire). *THEN* went back to Four Island to talk to Lorelei. She was not in her house. \o/
Left the islands. Flew to the League. Went up to challenge them and … no problems. 🙂 The woman was no longer blocking the way, and I was able to challenge the league just fine. (Though I got decimated by Lorelei’s new Level 80 lead, holy cow. @_@ )
Flew to Cerulean. Went to the Cerulean Cave entrance. The guy was no longer there blocking the way. \o/ Was able to enter perfectly fine. Was able to trigger the fights with Kikuri, Sariel, and Konngara perfectly fine. (Did not attempt to catch any of them, so if *that’s* glitched up, I didn’t test for that. I did throw my Master Ball at Kikuri though and she went inside of it, no problems.)
So! It seems like the Lorelei glitch people were talking about is either:
a) no longer present, or else
b) is still present but can be avoided if you follow the same steps as me. (Didn’t fight Faulkner. Fought Bugsy. Did Slowpoke Well. Fought Whitney. Got rail pass. Returned home to Kanto.)
Figured I should pass this along. And I’ll keep you guys posted in case I do notice some game-breaking glitches later as a result of my early foray into Johto.
January 4, 2013 at 06:56
Separate question: some of the Johto NPCs output garbled characters (example: “! @#($ sdjs &$784 |,?rh”) instead of outputting intelligible words. Is this a problem caused by Windows location settings? (I use Japanese settings.) Or is it caused by something else? And is this a problem everyone experiences, or do only a few people experience this? Not all Johto NPCs have this glitched text. I think it’s only NPCs that have been artificially added to the game or whose dialogue has been greatly altered.
January 4, 2013 at 00:54
I believe some parts are untranslated, which is why garbage text is printed out (Japanese to English most likely). I got this too, but it’s not much of a problem to be honest.
January 4, 2013 at 07:46
Huh, this’ll be interesting; redoing a previous game to use a different mechanic… should be interesting if you plan on doing the same for AW… hell, that’d be quite interesting
January 5, 2013 at 00:54
Huh…?
How to get my Cirno to evolve to TCirno? I mean… I tried to use a “Heart Stone P” on her, but it just says “No Use” So….. what should I do…?
January 10, 2013 at 01:14
Are you using it on chibi Cirno or Cirno? Heart stone P will work if it’s normal Cirno, not chibi.
January 10, 2013 at 09:53
I’m trying it on Cirno. And yet, it’s not working. I can’t even apply the stone on her since it just says “No Use”
January 10, 2013 at 20:56
P as it means Power? Then of course it’s no use.
For TCirno, use the Skill Heart Stone (S).
January 10, 2013 at 22:50
And I have another question. If I evolve a level 38 Cirno to TCirno, will she still learn Nasty Plot…? From what I can see on Touhou Wiki, she learns it at level 37.
January 11, 2013 at 02:54
Yes, she can still learn Nasty Plot. Just relearn it from the Move Relearner.
January 11, 2013 at 03:08
Thanks for the answers.
Also, does someone know if I can cover all of the HM’s with only 2 HM slaves?
The closest I got was Remilia (Cut/Fly/Rock Smash/Strength) and Komachi (Surf/Waterfall) But only Flash is lacking……
January 12, 2013 at 02:50
Double posting, but seems like I was able to find a good HM slave on touhou wiki: Namazu.
Apparently, he can be caught on safari zone with the super rod, right…? Well, I’ve been trying for quite a lot of time but he never shows up. Do I need to have the National Dex first before being able to make him appear?
January 12, 2013 at 04:37
is any one else having a problem with the heart stones, whenever i try to use one it shows a small seen like they’re about to evolve complete with text popup of “huh” and then it kicks me back to the item menu
January 24, 2013 at 16:09
I know double posting is wrong but as an addendum to my last post i’ve noticed that everyone who talks about these heart stones names them along the lines of “heart stone(r)” for the attack evo, I myself have not encountered anything named like that. the nearest equivalent would be a “power stone”. Am I using the wrong item or is it a change in the latest patch? I ask because I only found this hack a few days ago and admittedly dont know very much yet, and if I am using the wrong item where do i acquire the proper evo stones? Another thought I had was do i need to have the nationaldex to get some of the evolutions. Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated, it would be a shame to have to give up on such an interesting game due to a single flaw like this.
January 24, 2013 at 16:28
Yeah, you need the National Dex to use the stones.
The difference in names is probably because the Japanese version originally named them by color, but in this hack they have more descriptive names.
January 25, 2013 at 03:35
Thanks for the info, though that does make me wonder why they give you access to them so early in the game.
January 25, 2013 at 03:56
I can confirm something now.
This game works with gpsPhone for iPhone. I haven’t gotten very far, but it booted and ran very nicely.
February 8, 2013 at 17:39
GAHHH im sorry to say this, but i think it should be made clear that, within the game, that the stones can only be used after getting the national dex, like for example, the guy selling the stones in celadon city.
i know i’m being nit-picky, but then that information is really really useful, so yeah, if it’s possible, please update that in, oh great and wonderful Aichiya Sanae!
OH side note, THIS GAME IS AWESOME, thanks for the updates!
February 21, 2013 at 21:37
how do i get Alice-B cause i don’t want to do anything with my cAlice-K till i find out
February 22, 2013 at 17:10
Alice-B is a Trade Evolution, but you can find her in Mt. Silver in the room before Red, along with other Trade Evolutions like E Marisa and S Sariel.
February 23, 2013 at 11:48

Can someone tell me where I get winips? apparently lunar ips is unable to recognize aichiya’s patches as .ips and it’s kind of pissing me off. haven’t been abe to find a download link for winips32 via google, so I ask here.
March 16, 2013 at 09:26
Doesn’t it come in the download with the patch?
March 16, 2013 at 09:40
I saw that 10 minutes ago. I am a retard. my apologies.
March 16, 2013 at 10:21
So close to filling out my world dex. I just can’t find a way to get my hands on the last form of Shingyoku. I have chibi from fishing, orb from rock smashing in Cianwood and caught the roaming priestess. Any tips on how to find the priest form?
March 17, 2013 at 17:43
i checked Real Time Clock and Flash 128kb.. but i got “Save error.” “Please exchange the backup memory.”. How to fix error or exchange backup memory? (what’s backup memory anyway?)
March 19, 2013 at 18:53
so did you ever find a way to fix it? I have the same problem
August 11, 2013 at 06:15

March 20, 2013 at 09:24
Winips isn’t working…
March 26, 2013 at 09:10
Two things I needed to be checked or explained, if possible:
1. in regards to the breeding, were you using the 1.8 base similar or the same as the ones outlined in the Touhoudex 2 from Touhou Wiki, or did you remove the egg moves altogether? As far as I’m aware of, for example, Chen’s Crunch and Fire Punch are egg moves, and breeding those moves onto a CChen yielded neither moves passed on in this version.
2. Trainer Tower in Seven Island, will that be worked on in the future, or left to be a small thing forever blocked?
If these two things were addressed before, I apologize for not thoroughly searching, but this was bugging me for a little while. If possible, linking me to where I could find answers IF these two points were answered before would be appreciated.
May 29, 2013 at 21:47
touhouwiki’s egg move lists are outdated.
June 5, 2013 at 03:19
alright, thanks for that, though is there a list of those egg moves that are current or used in this that I could find, or do I need to resort to something like P:GE to see individually?
June 5, 2013 at 09:23
Quick question for in advance when I play, and its probably been answered, but how do the shards work? I heard you have to use them on your chibi, but no matter which one I use it only says “huh?” and nothing happens, if you have to trade them for stones where can they be found? Thnx
June 4, 2013 at 14:48
I mean the stones that is, are not evolving the touhoumon no matter which I choose, must be a bug.
June 4, 2013 at 16:06
You need national dex for stone evolutions. Read everything before comment.
June 5, 2013 at 00:13
Then you should read what I said, my question has most likely been asnwered, but I’m not going to search through 100 comments just to find it.
June 5, 2013 at 11:38
Wondering if anyone had the same problem where, when I went to sneak into the truck for the second time because I didn’t think that I needed surf and now I can’t get back into the truck because of the the fact that it “Wouldn’t be the best idea” Anyway to change that so I can get the boneka there?
June 13, 2013 at 22:38
Have you obtain the national dex? But you do need surf to get through to the cave where you can find Satsuki
June 14, 2013 at 09:07
Where is the national dex?
August 16, 2013 at 08:23
Hey I know this is a silly question but…how do I install this?
July 28, 2013 at 04:17
T_T I’m wondering too
August 7, 2013 at 16:12
They won’t let you catch any touhoumon in Safari Zone?
?
August 16, 2013 at 06:58
Aichi, I have a question!
are you planning on making a new Touhoumon?
because I just finished making sprites of Wakasagihime all the way to Raiko Horikawa!
and I also have sprites of Hata no Kokoro…
August 16, 2013 at 14:17
So I made sprites of
Wakasagihime
Sekibanki
Kagerou Imaizumi
Benben Tsukumo
Yatsuhashi Tsukumo
Seija Kijin
Shinmyoumaru Sukuna
Raiko Horikawa
and Hata no Kokoro
August 16, 2013 at 14:19
yeah just wanted to make sure
August 16, 2013 at 20:20
Most likely, I won’t…
Even I haven’t touched World Link 1.8 hack again since the alpha release couple months ago…
August 16, 2013 at 23:56
awwh, that’s sad to hear :c
I would make a Touhoumon, but I’m really dumb and I don’t know how…
August 17, 2013 at 13:41
Tried and failed to patch a clean ROM with this data. Followed instructions to the letter and tried it on both English and Japanese ROMS. Am I doing something wrong?
August 18, 2013 at 07:56
Get the English (US) rom.. I had this problem because I tried to patch the UK english rom.
July 28, 2015 at 11:24
I’m kinda new to downloading, so can anyone tell me how to a fire red (U) rom because when I look for it in doperom, all I could find is fire red (UE). Also I might need some instructions on downloading it

September 12, 2013 at 08:23
What happens? I went to the Ice Cave or so, Lorelei was there and no battles took place between the rockets and us when I talked to her, she just went ‘This is awful…’. Then, I went to Selphy in the Lost Cave. She was motionless.
You need to advance the storyline this way right? So what’s wrong?
September 12, 2013 at 08:45
Ty for the fast reply shana, but now i need help on applying the rom directly. I don’t understand what it means by applying it, do i just put them in the same folder or something?
September 12, 2013 at 09:55

September 13, 2013 at 07:43
in the links provided by the poster, there are patches available for down
they have the file extension .ips and a winips32 folder
after extracting the files, open winips32.exe in the winips32 folder
there are 2 directories. one for the ips and one for the ROM you will be patching. in the dropdown menu above, just select the first option. browse button is on the right side (a folder icon). browse the 1st directory of your .ips patch (it should be on the extracted folder). then for the 2nd directory, browse for the ROM file ( a .gba file in this case).
apply button is on the above right of the program. press and wait. a new file will be generated with a new name. go where you extracted the .ips. the new .gba file should be there.
P.S: the program is from a Japanese programmer, you may need to use AppLocale to make characters display right.

About the Lorelei bug. Seems i’ve reproduced the bug just now. I loaded my save just before i get the last 3 badges in Johto, and the trigger reverted to normal (already beaten the team rocket goons on four island)
My theory is, a certain trigger somewhere in johto (beating a gym leader, catching a pokemon, etc) might have caused the bug. I’ve tried retracing most of what i’ve done before the bug happened
*caught Tensoku
*Beat Gym leader (forgot his name, but it’s on the edge of the uncharted island with the tensoku)
*evolved and caught puppets not yet in World and Kanto Artbook
*beat Gym Leader (with dragon type in fire red, and has a Goliath, asks you to find a dragon scale i think?)
i cannot remember anything else from this. But i’ve solved mine by loading a previous save file.
September 14, 2013 at 20:54
Add this
*check five island warehouse before going to four island
September 14, 2013 at 20:58
You’re supposed to complete the Sevii Islands quests first before going to Johto or else Lorelei will bug out and you can’t complete it (along with a few other events I think…)
September 15, 2013 at 11:37
Does anyone know where I can find Bonéka cries ? Because I want to make a Touhoumon hack, but Pokémon cries don’t fit Touhou girls at all…
September 29, 2013 at 17:38
Hacking touhoumon is the same as hacking Pokemon fire red, jut use game shark codes
October 1, 2013 at 08:18
In fact, I was not talking about hacking Touhoumon, but making a new Touhoumon hack (= a new Touhoumon game)… So I guess that game shark codes won’t help me, but thanks for the answer anyway ^^.
October 2, 2013 at 19:13
Hello.
First of all, if you fear being spoiled, DO NOT READ.
I currently am wandering around Johto, and I just did a big mistake. I just caught the shiney CSanae in the burnt tower in Ecruteak City, but to notice that the 2 other Bonekas fled after this. Of course, I did the error to quick save during the battle against CSanae, and it’s been a very long while since the last time I used the game save.
My question is: do they wander around the city just like Raikou, Entei and Suicune? Or do I have definitely lost them?
October 14, 2013 at 14:27
If you can find the others, they’re super rare or something; I’ve yet to encounter them through all my hours.
October 14, 2013 at 21:32
I do not think you can find them in the wild like Entei/Suicune/Raikou, but this is my experience speaking. If Aichiya can clarify whether the roaming data was put in for the other two after the first one was captured, that would help, but as it stands, I will say from my experience just that; They aren’t found after you first catch Sanae/Reisen/Alice, so you need to NG+ (Yukari boneka in Lotus Island) and get to Johto again to get another one, and then do the process again for the third one.
As I said, Aichiya has to clarify this, but this is from my experience, Decondelite.
October 15, 2013 at 06:46
Thank you both for your answer.
That’s what I thought, seeing how Johto was implemented so far. So well I tricked around the saves to get all of 3 anyway. ^^
October 15, 2013 at 13:32
I don’t suppose you could provide the header data for the ROM before patching? I’m having some difficulty.
October 22, 2013 at 06:53
may i ask how do i get SG-Sanae or MP-Suika,and those advent touhoumon like Cirno-A, Mokou-A and On…any idea or tips? i will very appreciate for the answer
November 3, 2013 at 14:39
I think you have to trade a CSanae and CSuika to get SG-Sanae and MP-Suika. As for the advent touhoumon, you must have the National Dex to evolve them with the RainbowShard, otherwise they won’t evolve.
November 9, 2013 at 08:59
and the rainbow sharp i doesnt see it working? wasit all abt the Trade EvO?
November 3, 2013 at 14:41
Do you happen to read what people tell you? You can use the Rainbow Shards only once you have the National Dex, which you get only after beating the Elite Four a first time.
For SG-Sanae and MP-Suika, maybe you cannot get them either before trading, as they’re National Dex bonekas aswell.
November 9, 2013 at 16:37
i have a question : i play touhoumon emerald and when i capture kyoko (TD) it black and i can’t play is that normal?

November 16, 2013 at 00:23

November 26, 2013 at 08:43

February 12, 2014 at 00:55
Hello everyone, I have a trouble with this, I can’t find the “Pass” that the guard of the station on Saffron City is requesting to go to Goldenrod, how I can get the pass?, at this time I’m out of things to do, I’m just in Hanada Cave training.
I’ll wait the answer and thanks!.
February 25, 2014 at 19:17
Go underground in Goldenrod to where you do the “save the director” part; take a right just before the north exit in that underground area with the shops. This is not the Goldenrod Shop underground, but the underground next to Bill’s House and Name Rater’s house buildings. The pass is in front of the door leading to the Team Rocket part if you remember GSC/HGSS.
February 27, 2014 at 21:26
Oh thanks!, but the problem was that I was trapped in KANTO and I didn’t know how to access JOHTO (leaving me with the intrigue of where I can get the pass to such city) until a friend telled me about that and time after that being able to access Goldenrod and retrieving the pass.
Thanks anyway, I have other question but it’s more general (I don’t know if I can ask): is there a Touhoumon game or hack in active development actually?.
March 10, 2014 at 01:45
Reply thing’s acting up;
TS666:
There’s two that I’m aware of; an unnamed 1.8 hack that includes DDC crew (only Wakasagihime that I’m aware of currently), and one by Hemogurobin A1C as his standalone if I’m understanding the concept correctly.
As for 1.8 Enhanced, no updates for a /long time/ even if just small fixes. Nothing on Agastya’s side with Emerald; it’s still the October 19, 2013 patch.
March 11, 2014 at 03:45
Oh, that sounds great!. It seems that I need to wait a long time but it’s been worth waiting for, you know the official pages of these hacks so I can stay up-to-date?. Thank you for the answer and excuse the mess.
March 19, 2014 at 22:07
Now I have some questions that I had since I was playing a lot this PP edition:
> Where I can get an early Miko?, I ask this because I found this one too late in the game, about the last Johto gym in the “Dragon’s Den” (I thinks it’s the name) D:
> What’s the utility of the item “Up-Grade”?. it seems that’s for make certain puppets evolve when traded, right?.
> Where I can get Mamizou?, I don’t know where she is and I saw her before “Red” battle (one of the trainers has a Normal one) making me curious of that.
> What about Nue?, another that I never found.
> Which characters of TD/10D evolve when traded?, yes, most of my questions are for dex completion 😀
That’s all, really thanks for the help, sorry me if I mess.
March 19, 2014 at 22:17
Miko is only found in the Dragon’s Den. The reason why it’s so late in the game is because of how each Boneka is listed; if you catch them before the National Dex, the game will freeze. (This is mentioned in the readme document I believe)
I think the Up-Grade still works the same way, but I can’t remember which Boneka uses it. OTL
Mamizou is in the Tohjo Falls, and Nue is in the Seafoam Islands (Nue is very rare to find there).
None of the TD crew evolves through trade nor stone evolution unfortunately.
Hope this helps~
March 19, 2014 at 22:36
Oh great, thank you :D. I’ll very busy with that, specially finding a Nue now that you mention about it :3.
March 21, 2014 at 06:16
To reply to both TS666 and add onto Gaby’s reply to TS666, here’s some insight based on what I know.
Why Miko is in Dragon’s Den is beyond me, but I would chalk it up to being placed there as “final boss” TD character in a very late post-game segment. I don’t know any concrete correlation for her being there, if at all, and I would assume Mamizou is at Tohjo Falls for similar reasons (being placed to add them somewhere in Johto logic).
As far as I’m aware, Up-grade has no purpose other than being a junk item; I tried it with Tensoku to Tensoku-G trade-evolution, however, the item was not consumed when traded for the trade-evolution. This left me scratching my head about how this item, in theory, should’ve worked yet didn’t, so I cropped this up to being a leftover “junk” item that isn’t used in any trade evolution that I’m aware of. If there is, then please let me know, whether Aichiya clarifies it, or someone does a check on possible boneka/touhoumon in this version for whether the item has any purpose.
I recall a CNue at Seafoam Islands, though I think I found some evolved versions in Johto somewhere; I don’t recall where though, sorry.
As for TD/10D crew’s evolutions… I have all the evolution forms that I’m aware of; they only have one evolution (to normal form) and that’s it. If there are side-evolutions, then I’m legitimately unsure and was unaware of them, but I haven’t had time to do a thorough and full investigation.
Long story short, Chibi TD crew evolve once, and that’s it, usually around level 30-40 range, and their slot IDs DO NOT MATCH UP with Agastya’s 1.8 Emerald, so there’s no chance you’ll safely trade between games for TD crew and preserve them.
In one case, I got a Dialga in Agastya’s Emerald by trying to trade TD from Aichiya’s to Agastya’s (in the snapshot I took, it was Aichiya’s Miko (Toyosatomimi) to Agaysta’s 1.8 Emerald, which netted me Dialga as seen here: http://twitpic.com/da3per )
The evolved forms of the TD crew, apparently, are not listed as the 386 entries for Touhoudex, but the CForms are, ironically, but then understandable with dex entry limitations. Other than going on a breeding spree to get the CForms of all available normals, check Touhou wiki for all touhoumon available, figure out a few boss-only boneka/touhoumon like MP-Suika, SG-Sanae (JK-Sanae in Japanese, I believe), A-VIVIT, and Tensoku-G (I know I’m missing one or two, but the idea remains). It would help to figure out the trade-evolution buddies like Alice-B, Prismriver, AkiSisters, etc. in your dex collection, TS666.
Cheers

Hi. I just started playing this and using ctrl+f I didn’t see anyone else point this out so I will. After starting the game I went to visit rival’s house and the sister referred to rival as her brother even though if I remember correctly the rival is now supposed to be female.
November 25, 2014 at 01:35
Am I able to play this on a mobile emulator?

What is the emulator you use to play Touhoumon on your DS? (asking since i saw this https://i1.wp.com/i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll207/pokemon1412/Photoshot/ds.jpg ) (probably won’t get answered)
June 11, 2015 at 09:38
I used DSTwo flashcart back then.
It comes with built-in GBA emulator.

I downloaded the fire red file, downloaded the mod, modified the fire red file, turned off automatic IPS caching, and set the save file to flash 128K, but I keep getting the 1M memory error. Any advice?
