glad to see they made the sequel of touhou yuuen sekai! btw is it just me or this game crashes too often? (i crashed at option menu and at the cave stage where your vision is limited)

Yeah, it crashes whenever I try to back out of options, or I beat a boss. I’m pretty sure the error involves “saving” somehow. http://spice.rash.jp/spice/gnazo.html If you follow that link to the game’s website they have a patch. The patch makes a bunch of red text show up on the title screen if your game “is running in an environment where the save data cannot be overwritten”. Supposedly, the text tells you how to solve the problem, but alas, I cannot read it, so yeah.

I believe I now know of a way to fix that error. Try right-clicking on the games folder, and going under properties. If “Read-Only” is checked, uncheck it. That’s what I’ve done, and now it works perfectly. I didn’t find this out myself though, so don’t thank me.
