Well… Currently I’m in real-life Surabaya City… A few days ago I found improved patch of DPSS by DoesntKnowHowToPlay… later, I decided to make a small patch to kill my time in hotel…
In addition, I also made Renko patch… read the patching.txt for instruction…
Please do not upload rom-ready version…

General Description
Hack of : Pokemon Fire Red (U) v1.0
Hack Name : Touhou Puppet Play 1.8 Enhanced
Current Ver : v1.02
Best Emulator: Visual Boy Advance 1.7.2
Make sure you set this option before opening rom in Visual Boy Advance:
– Real Time Clock must be on (Option -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock)
– Save Type Flash 128kb (Option -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128kb)
If you don’t set save type to 128kb, it will be ended with message “1M-circuit board not installed” and you can’t save game.
If you want to use link feature. VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.7.3 is the best.
You can still use older version save data.

o Weathers work correctly, exception for Sandstorm won’t raise Sp.Def of Beast-type Boneka while activated
o Stat-modifying abilities such as Blaze, Thick Fat work correctly

Question: In the underground shop in Goldenrod City, one of the shops sells all TMs from 26-50, but the one next to it only sells the same 5 TMs that are sold upstairs. Is this intentional, or is that shop supposed to sell 1-25?

Is it normal that when using P.G.E, instead of showing the names of the Bonekas, you get a string of random numbers and letters?
For example, CSa\hFFFFE2D5e instead of CSanae

Had that same problem. Check you system locale, and make sure it’s set to English. That will solve the problem.

Yay a new upgrade, and oh I’m on Mount Silver at the moment but, right now I’m going to catch more Boneka to knock the trainers off their overpowered pedestals.
Also, CKoishi seems to be VERY rare to find in the Boneka Mansion, even though I’m down in the basement looking for one. x.x

I Suggest you just breed your CKoishi since it’s pretty rare and CSatori can actually be bougth where you buy magikarps in the original fire red =p

While you’re in the main entrance on the path to Victory Road, go to the left path. Be sure to beat the E4 first before going there.

You can find Koishi in Whirl Islands in Johto. I’ve captured Koishi, AKoishi and SKoishi there and then bred CKoishi.

I think you have to breed for CVIVIT (I think)…VIVIT is in Mt. Silver and A-VIVIT is the event on Tin Tower.

The thing is I tried various combinations like: VIVIT-VIVIT, A-VIVIT-A-VIVIT, VIVIT-A-VIVIT, both forms-genderless boneka (Tensoku, Ayakashi, Kedama, Ruukoto, Mimi-chan, etc) but still no luck. I assume CVIVIT is a rare encounter somewhere in Johto, but I don’t know the exact location.

By the way, I found some typos and mistakes in IDOLLDX profiles, so you might be interested in fixing those as well:
CElis – “She he can turn into a bat” -> “he” should be deleted.
All Chen – “nekotama” -> should be “nekomata”.
All Elly – “schyte boneka” -> should be “scythe”.
DIchirin – “…but she’s thinks quickly…” -> “‘s” should be deleted.
Kongala -> should be “Konngara”.
Luna – “…along with Star Spphire…” -> missing “a”.
CMerlin – “one of Prismriver sister” -> should be “sisters”.
AMokou – “nowdays” -> “nowadays” would be correct.
HMystia “her singing can insanity though” -> “can invoke insanity”?
AMystia “teams up with Prismriver sisters” -> now that Symposium of Post-Mysticism is out, shouldn’t it be Kyouko?

Also, if it’s possible to add more characters, it’d be neat to have PC-98 midbosses (Noroiko, Hikariko, Mirrors, Rinyousei, etc.) in the game too (assuming there’s sprites of them in existence).

And I never found a single item with Itemfinder in Johto. Is that alright?
One last thing, I’ve been wondering who are #397-400? I know that #396 is SG-Sanae and #401 and #402 are STenma and TSendai.

You can’t breed for C-VIVIT since she doesn’t have any egg group, I have no idea how to get her though, I’m wondering about that aswell.
As for all the rare chibis like Eiki etc, I suggest you just wait till johto and catch the evolved forms and just breed, AEiki, DEiki and Eiki are all very common at Mt Silver

I played the whole game to get to Dragon Den and get Toyosatomimi @.@ And… A-any reasons why her whole movepool is physical and/or with lower accuracy? She’s a special attacker it seems… And she gets Recollection… That was a surprise. Maybe she gets Extrasensory through breeding? I’d love some dex entries on the Ten Desires bonéka so we could check stuff like movepool, tms and stats…

You can sneak in a truck on right pier in Vermillion City to get there. But be sure to pick one boneka that can Surf and bunch of orbs. You can catch CSeiga while surfing (I got 3, just in case) and Satsuki in a small island cave. AFAIK you can get there only once, so be sure to catch them all.

I’m not too sure that you can enter only once.
I beat the Elite Four a second time, then I went to fight Red. After that, I tried to go back to South America Land and it worked.
I don’t know if it’s the Elite Four or Red, but you are able to return there.

Just checked my save state after beating Red. Yes, it seems that you can go to Faraway Land once again and there will be another Satsuki waiting for you in the island’s cave. Seemingly, it’s possible to go back there for a third+ time after beating Red once again, but I’m not sure.

No they can be used on any form although there were a few that you couldn’t evolve if they weren’t in there chibi form, not sure if it was fixed in this patch but it was like 4-5 of them that you had to evolve from the chibi form =p

I tried again patching a Pokemon FireRed Rom but still got the same error, and then tried putting them all in the same folder – still got the same error. I have looked up this error before and there is no answer anywhere to how to solve it. Did you accidentally choose the ROM as the IPS file and the .ips as the actual game? That may be why the patcher sees an invalid IPS file.

I have question. Can a regular Reisen still evolve into Advent Reisen or does she need Chibi Reisen for the evolution to still be available? Does apply to all bonekas?

If nothing about the evolutions has changed this patch then yes, all ADs have to evolve from a chibi state.
All the other bonékas can evolve from any state except a few =p

Evolutions work through levels, as usual, but there are “forms” in this game.
For example, you can obtain Sanae from evolving a CSanae by leveling up. However, using Hearts, you can transform them into a different form. A Power Heart will evolve a Sanae into a ASanae (Attack Sanae), while a Skill Heart will turn Sanae into TSanae (Technical Sanae).
This game also feature “slide evolution”, which allows you to change between forms anytime you want by using the appropriate heart. So you can have a ASanae transform into TSanae anytime by using a Skill Heart and transform back using a Power Heart,
