General Description
Hack Name : Touhoumon World Link
Hack of : Pokemon Emerald (U)
Current Ver : 1.42
Best Emulator: Visual Boy Advance 1.7.2
Make sure you set this option before opening rom in Visual Boy Advance:
– Real Time Clock must be on (Option -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock)
– Save Type Flash 128kb (Option -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128kb)
If you don’t set save type to 128kb, it will be ended with message “1M-circuit board not installed” and you can’t save game.
If you want to use link feature. VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.7.3 is the best.
If you already played earlier version, you can still use that save game data.
Change Logs
– Changed in-battle text box color, darkened a bit to make easier reading
– Changed Boneka movesets of some trainers in Java that use illegal move
– Altered some of marts items, in some marts you can buy PP restore items
– Raised True Administrator volume a bit
– Changed Kodok/Kalkun grunts battle theme with Invisible Full Moon which is impoerted from Japanese Touhoumon Marry/Renko
– Edited minor text

Cool update, Sanae. I watched the preview video but I have a question about the trainer you fight in it. The trainer’s name in Kira Yamato. was that supposed to be a throw back to Gundam Seed, or am I just imagining things? 🙂

I think Aichi stated that he/she will not add more characters due to space limitations, and he/she already used all the Pokedex spaces. Unless he/she replaces some characters, I don’t think it will be possible.

Well there could always be more OUT-of -dex things, meaning, move some stuff that are currently in the dex out to the out-of-dex area like the Z-forms. Putting the “novelty” things like Yukkuris and the “naked” forms of Tenshi/Ran, Tensoku(which has the stats for it anyway), etc. It seems possible, but its work, and takes time. Actually, I’m not even sure if there are 21 things that don’t really need a dex entry.

If you defeat Aichi while not holding back for the first time (in other words, while using it’s Zero team), he will give you a random Zero Boneka, and he only give you one per savefile, so if you want more Zeros, you have to trade it to AW or MMW and restart the game again, AFAIK.

Hello, can someone help me
I’m having some weird display issues the morning looks like sundown, I manage to fixed this with pasting the default VBA settings(un zipping new folder with defaults) but now when I tried to fix using this method it doesn’t fix it anymore.

fix’d my problem it was the
x16 x32 setting with other full-screen resolution
Options> Video> Other Full screen>choose your preferred driver:
Primary or VGA pick either of the 2 as long as you choose (preferred resolution)x16
pick (preferred resolution)x16. if that doesn’t work
pick (preferred resolution)x32.

I believe you have to go all the way around. Go through “Diglett” Cave and use the Boneka Flute you get from Java to get past Snorl- I mean Genji.

go on the tower of shion town (last floor), and touch the gold stone.Go at the left and finally,up the stairs , you must do 4 battles and go up an other time. Do an other battle (dificult) and talk to the second boneka. He gave you the boneka flute !!!

I remember I couldn’t find him either. To the east of Yogyakarta is Mt. Merapi. After I finished the little quest there, I was able to find Fuji and get the flute.

is it possible to encounter out-of-dex-bonèka using gameshark codes?
for info i already got all Zeroes legally and traded Ho-oH but i just want to know if theres a way to catch them in the wild somehow

If you already have them legitly (or got them from a trade), then yes, you can freely catch them in the wild with a code. If you didn’t obtain them at all, using a code to catch them in the wild WILL cause the game to crash.
However, I’m pretty sure Aichiya wouldn’t want us to release such codes. If you really want to hack to get them, you’ll have to create the codes on your own.
Not for nothing Achiya, but I used such codes to obtain non-shiny variations of Zero Boneka before you mentioned that you would be giving non-shinies out as an event.

I think I collected all Badge from Kanto, however I don’t have any clue about where are the E4. Also some of pass was blocked by some trainner (they claim “YOU CAN NOT ADVACE” ) in Bicycle Road, Fighting Doujo, Ghost House, Radio Center.
Can anyone help me to finish the Kanto ?

You’re done. I don’t know why Aichiya excluded Cycling Road (last time I checked, the map data was there and everything), but the rest aren’t exactly implemented.
After you get all the badges, you can fight the Elite Four if you want. Go west of Tokiwa City and there’s a building. Go into the building and head upwards. You’ll end up in Kanto’s Victory Road. Just pass through it and you’ll be at the Boneka League.

whats wrong with the saves? ive had tons of problems with this on the vba. everythings going fine at first then bam!
example: i loaded the game with 4:06 hours on the clock, next time i saved and loaded, i was back at 3:02 wtf?

it would be quiet awesome to have 493 touhoumon except of only 386

Hello! The game is awesome, but I experienced a glitch – for some reason I can’t take an egg from Day Care man, the game freezes just after he says “Take good care of it”. I tried to breed Tori and male ExMarisa, and I know Tori can cause glitches in other versions, but is there some way to take an egg, may be my emulator settings are wrong?
I didn’t use any cheats, and game had been running without any glitches before (I encountered minor ones though, mostly in Kanto, the music suddenly disappeared during battle with ChibiMarisa but returned when the battle ended, and later sprite of ExHatate became invisible for the rest of a battle after I threw a Ultra Orb at her for the first time, but I still managed to catch her).
Another glitch I just discovered – in Hanada city, there is a part in the fence where you should jump into the water, which isn’t working – you can’t even use a rod there.

@rein The missing fence isn’t a glitch, there is gonna be the ship to yogyakarta (java region) after you beat Steven in the Mt.Silver.

I think I found some bugs
– people in Yogyakarta desapeared, everyone but Aichi and the man with the boat, even the seller, i was training there (did like 1 battle against everyone and 2 or 3 with the fat man) and after going to heal one time they just disappeared
– Aichi gives me the Silph Scope every time I enter Yogyakarta
So, I also wanted to ask: I’m training in Gensokyo because I can’t train in Yogyakarta, is that the best place to win exp/money right now?
Also, I wanted to say this is a great game!

The First point you stated is actually not a bug! You have to go to the right of Yogyakarta and then on the river thingy, there you have to surf upwards, then there should be a waterfall and a volcano, but you need Firestone, Leafstone, Waterstone and a Thunderstone because there will be Boneka Statues on the Volcano wich will awake if you have the right evolution stone. On top of the Volcano there is an LFlandre, catch or beat it. Then the residents of Yogyakarta will return!

Chiyuris can learn Dive. Also Komachis. You can find Komachis easily surfing in water.

hello, i am a mac osx lion user, i use the no$gba emulator which is also a good rom. i noticed that you have your files in ips, and having to use the worst mac upgrade, it’s been living hell patching, i even tried using the leopard that my family has, but to no avail. so for all the mac users out there, can you make a rom version of this game rather then an ips?

Is there a way to get this to work with the Pokemon Emerald 386 Mod? When I try using the patch with the 386 version, all I get when I come into the first town (Littleroot/Mishiro) is at first a blank space during the time I come out of the truck, and a tree filled map after exiting the map.

Um. I am ~super early~ in the game, so nobody might remember this, but the trainer right outside Kotoki Town, the first one you really have to beat to advance that runs up to you? She has a Rin. Is that normal or is it a bug, ’cause that seems kind of excessive. I was twice its level and I couldn’t beat it.

This is normal. Beat that trainer and she’ll give you a Miku.
Just grind up like Lv. 7 or 8 to beat her Rin.

Like Amy said, Level 7 is pretty much the benchmark to beat Rin. Elly gets Triple Kick, which decimates Rin. Louise finally gets durable enough to tank Hyper Voice and can solo Rin with enough Potions.
However, Kurumi still can’t handle Rin well, due to only having Leech Life/Gust at that point. If you picked her, you should catch someone else to use for that battle, or overgrind Kurumi until you hit level 11 for Pursuit. Personally, I caught a CSunnymilk, trained her to Level 6, and spammed Sand-attack until Rin couldn’t hit anything.

I beat this game 4 times with my ExElly and even a complete Z army couldn’t overpowered me hahaha and im not using any cheats.!! even tho i was too late knowing this game but this game, AW and MMW are awesome. Thx 4 ur hardwork!!
