General FAQ
Q: Why [insert character name here] is not exist in this game(s)?
A: There is no more open slot…
Q: Why this touhoumon doesn’t work in [insert emulator name here] on [insert console/gadget name here]?
A: No idea… I only tested game using VisualBoyAdvance for computer and DSTwo in Nintendo DS. Maybesomeone can help… But, generally using unedited rom version and do SRAM patch will work…
Q: How can I link battle/trade?
A: See this video… better view in full-size
Important:
– Use VBA Link 1.7.3
– Make sure your save type is flash 128kb and real time clock is checked
– Make sure you select “Single Computer”
– Determine what link you would like to use… Link Cable Emulation or Wireless Adaptor Emulation…
– Make sure turn off “pause when inactive windows”
Q: I did link, but there is message “can’t transmit with the faraway trainer” or “the other trainer is not ready” or similar thing, what’s going on?
A: Both sides must have World iDollDex legally…
World Link FAQ
Q: I cannot find the way in Route 127, where is the way?
A: Find the way between trees, see the picture below
Q: How to get Kanto Region?
A: Ask person with Renko Sprite in Touka City, you will obtain JX-Pass, then you go to the North of Muro Town, ask sailor there, and you go to Kanto.
Q: How to get Java Region?
A: You will need some tasks to do:
– Ask gentleman in Hanada City, this will allow you pass to Johto through south gate of victory road
– Ask fat person in Wakaba Town (New Bark Town)
– Go to Route 25 and ask people there (with the ship)
– Beat Steven in Mt. Silver
– Return to Route 25 and he will escort you to Java Region.
Q: How to enter Java Grand League?
A: You need 7 Gems to enter Grand League, here the list of gems:
1. Ruby: given before battle with Steven
2. Emerald: Beat trainer named Tenshi in Yogyakarta
3. Topaz: Beat trainer named Woofle in Solo
4. Diamond: Beat trainer named Kryuzei in Semarang (inside house)
5. Pearl: Beat trainer named Kira in North Plain (South of Semarang), he is covered with trees.
6. Amethyz: Beat Yukai in Lost Age
7. Sapphire: Beat Director of Surabaya Hospital.
Q: What is Z Bonéka?
A: Z Bonéka is secret Bonéka that not recorded in iDollDex (like Miku). They are overpowered. Legit Z Bonéka in this game always shiny.
Another World FAQ
Q: What I supposed to do in Muenduka after beating Marisa?
A: Go to Hakurei Shrine and ask Reimu for battle, beat her, and go to the bed room and ask Yukari. You will be sent to Gap Zone.
Q: I’m lost in the Gap Zone, where is the way?
A: Outside World portal… go to the top-right edge of map, thus press 1 step left and 1 step down…
Hakurei Shrine portal… go to the bottom-left edge of map, thus press 1 step up and 2 steps right…
Q: Where is HM Fly and Boneka Flute?
A: Both of them are obtained in Hyakugokurou. HM Fly is given by Yuyuko and Boneka Flute is given by Youmu.
Q: How can I access Hyakugokurou?
A: After rescuing Mr. Fuji in Boneka Tower (Shion Town)… once again go to the top of Boneka Tower and check the golden tomb.
Q: Help, I lost in the Bamboo Forest……..
A: Look into this map
1. Eientei
2. Keine’s House, only can be accessed after you beat Kaguya
Q: How can I access Dream World(s)?
A: After you got Dream Stone (key item), sleep in your own house in Masara Town.
Q: How can I get Dream Stone?
A: Defeat [insert your rival name here] in Indigo League and Prof. Oak will give you Dream Stone.
Q: Where is HM Waterfall?
A: After you beat Sanae and Yuka…. Reimu will give you one…
Q: Where can I get Zero Coupon?
A: None in this game. You must transfer it from Touhoumon World Link game.
Q: Is there any requirement for searching wild Last Word with Last Tag?
A: Yes, only works after you beat 8th Gym. I set this because you can buy Last Tag in early game.

I’ll admit. I used “Walk Through Walls” to get through the Bamboo Forest. I gave up figuring out the place after a clocking in a couple of hours in that place.

Regarding being able to go to the Kanto region, Sanae. When I was playing World Link once and I got the pass to go to Kanto I made the mistake (Yes, I said mistake) of going to Kanto after getting the 2nd badge, which I might add, was a foolish move on my part. Why? Simple. Going to Pewter City and finding out the Gym Leader had Lv40+ Boneka early on (Ouch.). Was I supposed to wait until I beat World Link to go to Kanto? Or was this some sort of glitch? Or should I have used common sense and ACTUALLY WAITED to go there? XD

I intended that Kanto is optional region… and you can battle trainer there whenever you want…
Isn’t trying to explore new place also common sense of gamer?
remind me playing digimon world 3 while first time stepped in Amaterasu Server and encountered cheat Knightmon…

Haha, you’re right, Sanae. I always had the urge to explore areas in games that weren’t apart of the main path of a game. That’s usually where all the better treasure is. 🙂

i like the exploration it makes it a new game. and java’s pretty big too and omg the random trianer batttles really are getting to me >.< i battled for two hours in one area and when i was going back to heal they somehow reset so i was screwed

I have a problem saving the game. Everytime I try to save the game with VBA 1.7.2 it says “Save Error. Please exchange backup memory”. I’ve checked Real time clock and set the save type as Flash 128 before starting to play. Do you know a way to fix it?

If you changed after you already have a game… it will useless…
the solution is… delete *.sav file… open VBA, change to 128 kb and then open rom,… and new game…

I have a kinda noob question.
How do you exactly use the last tag?
I mean, i know it is after you beat the 8th gym, but in which way do you use it?
Any special place, Bonéka, time, form?
So far, i’m sure it doesn’t work on Gensokyo.

Equip it to an EX Boneka and trade the Boneka. It will evolve into its Last Word form (if it has one).
Also, if you have a Last Tag in your inventory, you have a chance of finding Last Word Boneka in certain places.

Thanks, i just found a Sakuya with the last tag in my inv… but why did i find it in Cerluen cave.. i have no idea.
I found another weird thing, but this time in puppet play. is my imagination, or Akyuu is the most useless Bonéka you can find?
I mean, she can’t learn any move, not even her own class Heart/Reason or Illusion ones (that, using my limited brain capacity, i think it stands for normal type).
As far i know, at least in Another World, she is kinda useless even at level 100, her speed, attack and pretty much everything sucks but at least she can learn all kind of moves… even fly.
SO… in Puppet Play… there is any kind of detail about Akyuu? something tell me that i should train her.

Sorry, but I have MMW and Another World, I use VBALink 1.72 and I have real time clock, 128kb save, both screens running at once, etc, basically all the requirements, but when I try to trade one window says “other trainer’s boneka can’t be traded now” even though AW has three and MMW has six in their party. Is this fixable?

Scarlet: Found in the Prismriver Mansion.
Azure: Defeat Mokou at Keine’s house, located in Gensokyo’s Bamboo Forest. Keine will give you the tome.
Aqua: Talk to Cirno to start her sidequest. Defeat the Three Fairies of Light in the Forest of Magic and talk to Cirno again to receive the tome.
Jade: Defeat the Kanto League to receive the Dream Stone. Sleep in your bed at home. Defeat Mugetsu and Gengetsu. Sleep repeatedly until you access the Lake of Blood. Defeat Kurumi, Elly, and Yuuka. Yuuka will give you the tome. This also triggers the flag for Reimu giving you Waterfall!
Dark: Use Waterfall to reach the Moriya Shrine. Have Sanae take you to Makai. Find Byakuren. After that, talk to Murasa at Moriya Shrine to have her take you to Makai again. This time, head as far inside as you can. Defeat Yumeko and Shinki to receive the tome.
