Area Zero has updated game through patch HAYATE1.10
In this update, added 2 playable characters Aya and Sanae. They are unplayable in Arcade Mode though.

ARG.
Is anybody else getting a shit-ton of issues trying to get this patch?
When I try to download from the big blue button that says パッチファイルDL the download gets half-way through, skips to the end and when I try to extract the file I get an error message.
The only download mirror on the site that works for me is the “Download 4” mirror. All the other mirrors take forever (according to the estimated time).
Even when I downloaded the patch it won’t run! I get an error message that says “[ERAA] (kanji)(kanji) FAIARU no OOPUN ni (kanji)(kanji)shimashita” (in Kanji and Kana). I have no idea what it says.
When I had Google translate the .txt file it translated this sentence:
“このパッチ単体での起動できません。
必ず「東方スカイアリーナ・幻想郷空戦姫」本体をご用意ください。”
As:
“This patch can not start by itself.
Must be “air combat Gensokyo Sky Arena Eastern Princess” Please prepare the body.”
What the hell does that mean?
I tried searching everywhere for information and drew up a blank.
I’m at my wits’ end here and would be eternally greatful to anyone who could help me out.

I retranslated it too. By the first patch (1.02) you had to direct the path into the game main folder, like this: “C:\Program files\Touhou Sky Arena”
Maybe you have to do this by this patch too, well Im not 100% sure of it since I din’t DL the patch yet… 😡

Okay, just as I thought. When you start patching, you have to browse te rute to the Sky Arena folder, so the patch will know where to install the data

Well, like with most doujin stuff from japan you´ll propably need to use a proxy service for that. They buy your stuff, get it sent to their company and ship it to you, worldwide.
Of course, it costs you more this way, the shipping to the company and comissions have to be paid, too. But it´s really the only way to do it. If you´re interested, I´d say you should try GOODY JAPAN. I´ve never had a problem with them and they actually show you their comissions before ordering, unlike some others I´ve seen around.
