General Description
Hack of : Pokemon Emerald (U)
Hack Name : Touhoumon World Link
Current Ver : 1.25
Best Emulator: Visual Boy Advance 1.7.2
Make sure you set this option before opening rom in Visual Boy Advance:
– Real Time Clock must be on (Option -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock)
– Save Type Flash 128kb (Option -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128kb)
If you don’t set save type to 128kb, it will be ended with blank white screen.
If you want to use link feature. VisualBoyAdvance Link 1.7.3 is the best.
If you already played earlier version (ver 1.23), you can still use that save game data.
Change Logs
– Kasen Playable, catchable in Mirage Island. Thanks to latos81 that give me her backsprite.
– Mirage Island will be found in Route 130 at 1/7 chance every entering map. Not 1/65535 anymore
– Battle Frontier estabilished, Boneka has their proper moves.
– Male and female gender become Yin and Yang symbol
– Fixed ExNazrin type
– Updated Boneka List excel file.

Any way to get this to work on a flashcart? I’ve tried in the past, but ended up giving up and using my Wii GBA emulator. I never seem to finish a hack unless I can play it with buttons rather than a keyboard.

Maybe I modified the header of rom…
try to restore the header into original emerald rom, maybe that will fix your problem.

Have you managed to play other gba games on your flashcart?
Because while I’ve yet to try this version, I can get 1.23 working perfectly on my ez-flash.

I Growl spammed a random Nazrin down to -6 to test and its Tackle still did consistent damage.

I can´t play the Touhoumon world link in a psp… why?
others touhoumon works well but the world link puts a white screen and i dont understand why

I would assume it’s because you’d need to change the save type to 128 kb save thing. There may be a way to do that with some emulators, but I don’t know myself.

Good job on this amazing hack! I really like it, keep up the good work!
A small suggestion though, in some areas (Namely the towns in Kanto with grass) you have to walk for minutes at a time before any puppets attack you… maybe you could raise the encounter rate in these areas?

Since Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, and Sanae are starter (in other touhoumon games – insane, blue, marry/renko v1.5x, etc),
I set encounter rate at 1/256 in that grass… :3

Hey, I’ve been playing Touhoumon World Link for a while now and I was wondering if there was any known way of getting the mystery events; i play on the mac so there isn’t a vba link to use if I need link. Also is there any working codes for THMN World Link? I’ve been trying a couple and they don’t seem to work, any help?

hey so i found the lost woods i think, the place were you’re boxed in (or triangled in) with a bunch of trees and the entrance is on the top of the mountain in lost age, and i can’t seem to find LChiyuri, help?

Is there any way to rip the music from the ROM? I tried using sappy to extract it but all I got were the original emerald music files.

It’s possible, but, it would be effective using sappy1.2 (2006) that only works in WIndows XP (Sappy 1.2 will be crashed in Vista/7),
Since I use custom song table in my game for extending song bank, you must change song table into 0xFEE000 in sappy.xml

Yeah, sappy 1.2 plays it fine. They start at around track number 600 or so if you start at 0xFEE000. I’m curious as to why you put the rockman X music in.
Well, what I really want to know is how you got the music files in the first place. Did the author of touhou puppet play release them on his site?

Well, musics that marked red/orange in Route 101 Music House are imported from Touhou Ningyougeki games,
and the other (blue marked) are self-inserted from midi… :3

Yes, you could find ChibiFlan in Granite Cave by smashing rock
ChibiSanae can be found in Masara Town (very first town in Kanto)

if you download this you will get a .rom file. Just open that through any GBA emulator for the mac and it’ll work.

just download the .rom file and run it through any of the GBA emulators available for the mac. There’s no “Native” mac touhoumon game, just a .rom file.
